Big Dylan fan here (even my doggo has his namesake!), saw the film earlier this week and I really loved it! Agree Timothee’s acting and performance phenomenal! Monica’s performance of Joan was flawless too! I just enjoyed listening to them both, was pretty sad when the film ended. Would love a follow up going further in to his life haha!! I just said in the other thread about how when Dylan is playing guitar while Joan’s sleeping that watercolour eyes started to play in my head.. and I’ve been thinking about Lana covering a Dylan record for TRPWS since.. her version of knocking on heavens door is beautiful. It ain’t me babe has always been my favourite Dylan song though, would love a cover of that.. though would it fit the theme of the record? I suppose maybe it could

I agree that I think Blake did look uncomfortable in those scenes, but I think the uncomfortably comes from not wanting to create conflict in her home life as prior to this she had been happy to work without an intimacy coordinator sometimes it’s easier to for women in these cases to project the problem on to a coworker than see that their husband can not stop them doing their job because he doesn’t like that she has to work with a man.

Amy wasn’t suicide though? I think more so she admired these incredible artists and she related with their struggles too, but I think she accounted their early demise as part of their impact as well. its better to burn out than fade away

Weird I had a dream that a preorder dropped with loads of random merch and the designs were totally different to what I was expecting. It was really celestial with deep navy blue cover and like double exposure images of her similar to the endless summer tour poster with like a starry sky kinda on it. The album title was different and said something about pink linen. but alongside it she dropped a random mixtape from her Lizzy days. But only on cassette and then there was also collector Barbies dropped; one being her in her met gala look Now we know the records taking too long with no news because I’m dreaming up new scenarios

Been in touch with family over there and lucky they’re all fine, I happened to be in LA during the 2019 wildfires and it was very surreal to see the sky change colour and watch flames just engulfing homes as coming from the UK it’s just unimaginable. From what I’ve seen these fires seem so much worse

The bottom is very true, I actually watched a documentary last year about the wildfires and apparently is quite healthy for them to burn down and start again; obviously a tragedy for everything else though

I empathise, I also considered writing a comment on this thread relating to personal experience/family in the area also, but I did stop myself as I know all to well that sometimes things can be misconstrued on the forum and unfortunately it can feel like you’re getting dog piled when people don’t agree (which isn’t necessarily what is happening, but I think when we’re feeling low anyway, it definitely feels that way!) Just know that most people on here are not trying to hurt you, sometimes I type a reply and then just delete it, so I’ve gotten it off my chest but still not risen to it or fed in to anything! and sorry to the admins for keeping this thread off topic, but I wanted to check in first and foremost!
