Well… the music videos and concept for portals as well as recent interviews don’t tell me otherwise, they still feel for kids the Void MV is specially bad and messy. Give Melanie a budget and she will find a way to spend it in the stupidest way Even Crybaby sounded more mature and well put together. She’s regressing on quality so much it hurts. And when she shows some of her past brilliance (Garden, Dragons Blood, Fingers Crossed, Needle & Thread) she leaves it unreleased! Make it make sense

Can she drop the film thing…? not trying to be rude, but she sucks as a director and her scripts are shit. She should stick to making music videos cause K-12 the movie was a mess. It actually made me realize how childish she can be… a 5 year old could write a better plot her stubborness and victim complex is getting on her way, and that’s a shame cause she has potential: great ideas (maybe not always executed the best way but), a unique voice, a loyal fanbase, the support from her label (as much as she complaints, they always have backed up her crazy ideas) etc.

Method To My Madness eats up everything in Witness, period

first of all I’m sooo here for ur Ava Max slander that said, I don’t agree with Happy Forever and Heartbeat Away not fitting (I won’t argue with Psycho Lover) Happy Forever does the 80s sound sooo well with that dark undertone Miss Belladonna has… better in my opinion than Memories Of You which reuses the same beat she has done several times already (music to bounce ur tits to if that makes sense). Too similar to Dramatic, HF brings something new to the table in her catalogue and Heartbeat Away also sounds like a throwback, in my opinion better than Rhinestone Heart (maybe my least favourite from the sessions)

no Memories sounds like a bad Dramatic with an overused beat (she does this a lot) and Rhinestone Heart is cheesy af Happy Forever, Heartbeat Away, Valentine and Psycho Lover deserved a spot instead, even Spend The Night

Erotic Electronic sounds massive! I was not sure about her more “rap” songs but Hollywood, Erotic Electronic and Purrr sound great and more evolved if it makes sense… the one I’m not in love with is Plastic… Tommy, Valentine, Make Up, Happy Forever or Heartbeat Away could have taken its place also, Memories Of You and Rinestone Heart are goddamn awful… don’t know why she included them

Operator is great, she should have completed it to a full on track! At least she could use it as an interlude in live shows
