love how the interviewer stated that the critics were the only ones talking about her "authenticity" while the fans "disagreed" and loved her work and yet continued to never speak about the music but this abstraction of her... just was a boring and repetitive interview she looks great though!- 347 replies

u can’t be deadass… mind u I’m arab and muslim and that statement isn’t the most right-winged statement we’ve seen in the last few weeks. westerners views on politics outside of their sphere will always baffle me cus it’s never a genuine concern for the people dying but if their parasocial relationship will last depending on if they share your same views - which in this case, they do… its a neutral statement at best with barely any substance other than the narrative that hamas has been “terrorizing” palestine as if it’s somehow their fault.

I can totally see Taylor liking Ride's vid and immediately going to see who made it and having her team contact them lol also explains the 22 music video and it being ldr core

Exactly my point… and those little lies makes it worth questioning if anything she ever said is true. Reminds me of the day old authenticity argument.

ultimately, She always lies about weird stuff… like her parents know she was a singer and they even attended some of her shows prior to SNL, it’s just these little lies that make it seem like whatever she says is worth questioning all the time

ou I actually like the song... I just always wonder how artists feel when their an exact replica of their inspirations... like doesn't it feel bad that your not original or interesting in your own way... Like I enjoy the song cus its LDR core and I'm an LDR fan... not cus Honey Gentry is something interesting or new same thing with that tiktoker nessa something... its just cringe when she does it but here Honey Gentry seems like a genuine fan

Funny/Cringe/No Context Internet Content About Lana

I mean "touring" as an audience and not an artist is like peak jobless behaviour but like... who cares... and spreading accusations about him is hella weird -
that song in general is not that good… its the only thing keeping nfr from being a perfect record
-
It's just hard for me too think of songs I heard before they were released as Demos cus it's what I initially heard first... I just kinda forget about being anything but the original rather than like a first draft

Most underrated moments on Lana's albums?
Honeytrails replied to barttttender's topic in Lana Thoughts
A very abstract thought but how every song title in Honeymoon kinda rhymes... or at least as an emphasis on the vowel/sound "ouu" in the song. Honeymoon the entire track's rhyme meter is based on that "ouu" sound and it's followed by Music To Watch Boys To and Terrence Loves You which also do that... then High By The Beach and Freak rhyme title wise as well and Freak utilizes that "ouu" rhyme scheme, then Art Deco, Burnt Norton, Religion, Salvatore all rhyme again... then also Twenty -Four, Swan Song, and Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood... Kinda why I think Honeymoon and Ocean Blvd are her closest attempts at a "concept record" cus everything just makes sense together... Unlike lust for life for example -
thunder demo being better is kinda a given tbh... Thunder and Lolita only... the rest... mid to unfinished at best
