agreed and i think it's because a lot of them are carbon copies of artists that already exist or just make music that caters to social media. it's like no one has to start out singing in dive bars anymore, just one hit from 10 seconds of your song on tik tok and you instantly have a million monthly listeners. you don't really have to work all that hard on your craft if you use the blatant pattern the industry is following

no, i think she only currently has deals with target (although she has released spotify merch before.) also agree on the red folklore vinyl, it's the only one i have and i cringe everytime i look at it
