The most notable being a preview of three new tracks from the forthcoming FKA Twigs EP on Young Turks. Projected on to the white walls of the cavernous Sorting Office venue in central London, we were treated to three equally bat-shit crazy videos from the alien-pixie-dancer-wonderkid. It was the second video that got the biggest ‘WTF!?!’ reaction in the room as it featured Twigs’ head being super-imposed on a life-sized sex doll, deflated, draped on a bed, all the while singing “Dress me up, love me rough, I’m your doll, I’m your doll” to a man who you would definitely not want to have sex with under any circumstances. Like most of her work, it’s going to take more than one viewing to digest but fans won’t be disappointed. She’s clearly lost none of her bite for gritty visual aesthetics.

it's just so like...bleurgh. she's doing too much telling instead of showing - people complain about PWYC being repetitive but "'Cause I'm pretty when I cry" has a lot of subtle meaning underneath it (emotional abuse, for example), which Lana shows but doesn't tell. "I'm a sad girl/I'm a bad girl" kinda defeats that attitude and cuts out the underlying imagery. it's just too matter-of-fact imo

British spelling isn't a typo....

Who is responsible for the typo (Nighshade), wrong lyric (filled with passion, I can play most anything, they got a sayin') - especially on the big lithograph, and British spelling (I'm your favourite girl) of the text on the booklet? Like seriously you had one job!
 
 
 
 
Also I just got the boxset now, thought I can treat myself to that It is very lovely, especially the picture vinyl and the gatefold LP. I don't like the CD packaging either it's just awkward, would have been better if they made it gatefold - CD on one side booklet on the other side?

I feel kinda bad for the people who over payed to get "front row" seats (not the pit) when I'm sure a lot of them probably don't know they aren't going to be anywhere near front row or the stage cause of the pit. Cause there wasn't a pit on the map or anything so Ite not like you'd have any idea unless you researched. so I'm imagining their reactions (as evil as if is) being far from the stage because a huge pit of standing people are in the way .. Yikes

saying 1 could be an album teaser is hardly going deep lmao she's done it for her past 2 releases and this is a speculation thread
