In NZ, listening to Candy Necklace for the first time <3

The Quietus gave Honeymoon 50/100. WTF.

I'm in NZ and it is out in 2 hours. I will still buy it on vinyl despite it being one of my least favourite albums. Can't love them all, but I love Lana always

Have there been any new critic reviews today for the album? I see a couple of 3/5 stars, but doesn't look like there is anything lower than that yet?

I am new to this board. I am interested to read that most people on here don't like BB or COTCC much? This does shock me as a Lana fan. I always thought Lust for Life was her worst album - it is just all over the place in terms of genre and the featuring songs I think are terrible. Can I ask what you guys think about Lust for Life because I don't see it mentioned much on here like her other albums.

Every album receives some sort of criticism. I don't trust the Lana stans reviewing her album on this forum. They are blinded by their love for her that I don't believe their opinions are accurate. I truly believe those that are saying this is her best work, will say the EXACT same thing with her next album. I love Lana, but I understand some of her albums are better than others.

Do we know if Lana has filmed any music videos for this album?

Does anyone else think watercolour eyes is better than every song on the new album?

Everyone needs to accept that people can have different opinions. I love Lana, but her new album isn't my fav. I think we can see from the critic reviews now that this is album is not going to outperform NFR!

No need to get aggressive people. I love Lana and she is my favourite musician. I'm just not connecting with this new album, and that is okay. One of my favourite albums of hers is Honeymoon and that is often referred to as her worst album. So what the hell do I know lol.

I have been a Lana Del Rey fan since the release of Born to Die (the single) and have closely followed her music ever since. She is my favourite artist for sure. However, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the Did you know album. So many of the songs have no melody OR are sooooo boring. I don't understand how anyone could say this album is better than NFR. I miss the catchy tunes and the cinematic songs she use to sing, such as on Honeymoon. There were so many good songs on Blue Bannisters - if you lie down next to me, violets for roses, thunder, etc. All of these songs had great lyrics and good production, but this new album is so one note and they are forgettable with next to no tune. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this is by no means even close to being her best work. Perhaps her worst actually! Does anyone actually agree with me? lol
