  1. I was listening to the show's soundtrack on vinyl last night and I was thinking how interesting it would be for her to make a Julee Cruise style album- she has the voice for it too. It would be soooo dreamy, I can't even imagine. How To Disappear always reminds me of TP- if only she had more songs like that
  2. Hopefully this means ONE standard edition of the album and maybe a deluxe version- the discourse the variants/vinyls cause is fun sometimes but I wish she would tone it down a bit. The rollout for Red TV was great, it was like one standard vinyl and a target exclusive, same for evermore I think.
  3. Listened to The Alchemy on a walk today and I fear I've never felt such immense happiness in my life
  4. It kinda blows my mind that September is here. I remember thinking in February that it seemed so far away and yet it's just here now? This year was such a whirlwind for me it feels like so much happened yet nothing happened at the same time. Most years are like that tbh. I wish I could go back and tell my February self that we still know zilch abt Lasso- although I don't think my past self would be that surprised
  5. Liana Flores Liana Flores is an indie girlie who's genres can be described as 60s Folk, Bossa Nova, and Indie Folk. Her music is similar to artists like Nick Drake, Vashti Bunyan, and Astrud Gilberto. She has two EPs out, and an album, which she released this past summer, titled "Flower of the soul". Her most popular song is "rises the moon", a gorgeous lullaby that went viral on Tiktok. It currently has about 560 million streams on Spotify. She hasn't gotten any other songs with that massive success, which is a shame because I find her to be really talented, and someone who is making unique art. Here are a few songs by her that I enjoy: I actually discovered her this past week, I really recommend checking her out!
  6. every time i open this thread i get a massive headache- i fear the shitposting levels are too high for my brain to compute
  7. this album is so relevant, i feel like it'll never age. No matter how many times I listen to Mariners, it's always fresh in my ears. It boggles my mind that this album even exists, it's just so perfect in every way. She could release a hundred shit albums after NFR and I wouldn't care because she has this diamond (and many others) in her discog. Not many artists have that. I was listening to Cinnamon Girl on my walk this morning and I got chills, even though I've heard it thousands of times
  8. She just released the album trailer - it's called "The Great Impersonator", seems to be a concept album in which she experiments with sounds of different decades. A few snippets in the trailer, they sound great! Excited for this ngl.
  9. I rly like this! The bangers really hit and I enjoy some of the yee haw moments. Juno is literally an ABBA song, so impressed w that one. Only song idc for is Sharpest Tool.
