Her hairstylist Anna Cofone posted a story of LA and driving past Chateau Marmont. My delulu sirens started beeping in my head thinking it's for Lana or Lana hint but I realised that it's probably for Margaret because of the Oscars -
Great news! Congratulations!

97th Academy Awards - 2025 Oscars

Honestly, I agree about the voting, they all have other obligations, so yeah, they can't focus on all the movies at the same time. And all the film knowledge and opinions are different as well. I don't really have a concrete wish this season since I haven't seen half of the movies (most of them were released last month) but so far The Substance impressed me, so I'm happy with any kind of award for this movie! -

That one twitter pop insider said in an exclusive subscribe letter shit or something that she will announce US and Europe stadium tour dates in February. Well...did she? We shouldn't pay attention to those Twitter attention seeker insiders tbh. They really love to say that "fork found in the kitchen" type shit about the album which will happen either way. Like girl, I predict that tomorrow the sky is cloudy in some parts of the world, let's see if I'm right tomorrow lol. -
97th Academy Awards - 2025 Oscars

Imagine if there's a triple victory tie where Demi, Mikey and Fernanda won Best Actress, it would be chaotic but it would be something I'd love to see So far as I can remember of what I have read is that you can become a voter if you have at least two friends who are members of the Academy. It makes sense that Oscar nominated people can be the members as well. I think there are a variety of age groups, from 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s ect ect. I just thought that if these people vote for Best Picture, it would be respectful and fair to watch all of these movies (like imagine if 25% of those voters watched only mid films like Emilia Perez and didn't bother to watch other movies which are actually good). Those results would be messy and not objective. They can dislike the movies of course, it's alright not to vibe with them but if you're voting in important categories like Best Picture, it should be a necessity to watch them all of them (they get special screenings for that as well) and if they can't bother watching them then drop out of the voting for this one year (which would be alright, I'm sure that all the members have the right not to vote, if they don't want to or can't) but you know...it's just hard to expect that from 10,000 voters. -

I have been reading those anonymous Oscar voters choices and they're actually very incompetent at their job. It's as rigged as that one Grammy voter who didn't vote for Lana because of the SNL performance. I mean only like ~10 anonymous voters have revealed their decisions out of like 10 thousand voters but STILL, it might indicate that there are more voters like these people. For example: Two Oscar voters didn't vote for Ralph Fiennes in Conclave for Best Actor because he already has an Oscar and it would be unfair, so they gave their votes to Adrien Brody in The Brutalist instead. But the fact is that Fiennes has actually never won one and Brody has one already. (Like do your fucking reasearch or what's even wrong with having an award already lol) One voter didn't vote for Cynthia Erivo in Wicked because they thought she's too old for that role. There are many voters who haven't seen the movies nominated there. One voter said that they couldn't get through the first Dune, so they didn't bother to watch 3 hours of Dune Part 2 (which is a Best Picture nominee + 4 other categories). Some voters also complained about the runtime of The Brutalist (3.5 hours long) (the film is nominated for 10 Oscars), so they didn't get to it or didn't finish it. My question is, who the fuck gets chosen there as a voters. It's a huge privilege to be there, so at least do your job like you've earned it. There are thousands of cinephiles around the world who would agree to do that for free. It's like the Grammys where the voters are biased without any critical thinking and ability to research. These are not People's Choice Awards or MTV Movie Awards, these are fucking Oscars. Filmmakers, actors and the team have poured their souls out for their films and the voters are really disrespectful by not bothering to watch those films. That's the reason why people do not take these awards seriously these days. -

Pantene said that Sirens things Or what does the heavenly mean? Insider name or? -
I listened to her a lot in 2018-2019. Especially this song, I love her voice! This one as well! Her cover of Blue Jeans is so good as well!

It was really jarring and sad to watch the Zelensky-Trump meeting. Trump and Vance were attacking him and the journalists asked stupid questions as well, like "why don't you wear suits"

Honeymoon is Lana's best produced album and it's not even close. It's so rich in detail. People are not ready for this conversation but it's one of the world's best produced albums released in the 21st century.

Not hating on Marina or Butterfly but honestly I'm tired of the narrative that most Love + Fear songs are bad and meaningless, I mean you can still dislike the songs of course and there are some questionable decisions on some of the songs, yes they're simple but can you really say that Butterfly is better than for example Handmade Heaven, To Be Human, End Of The Earth, Soft To Be Strong, Believe In Love?

They probably used her songs in it and since it seems to be an indie movie, the crew has enough control to put her in it as a composer (I saw that they put Frank Ocean in it with other 5 people as well). Maybe it's something else but I doubt it's true, it's like 1% chance it's happening. Letterboxd isn't in control of listing movies there, the movies get automatically listed there via a movie database like IMDB or something similar to that where everything is listed - all official, unofficial, major company movies and indie movies. They even listed an fanmade documentary called "Lana Del Rey: The Gretest Story Never Told" in her filmography as an "actress" which I kinda dislike that it's there, because it's unofficial and it's a documentary. I haven't seen it though, not sure if I'd ever want to see it: To be honest Letterboxd should do a separate category for concert films because it's not a narrative film with directors and actors.

I wonder if her shrooms trip inspired to write Butterfly, I remember she talked about doing a shrooms trip in 2023
