Wait but the tower and the devil? the combination of these two is not really positive? I don't practice tarot but over the years I've learned the meanings of the cards and doesn't the tower mean fail and crash and doesn't the devil mean addictions and being your own prisoner or something? I totally love the Swiss song now. I love the genre fusion of pop, hip-hop and opera. The ending had a very strong James Bond soundtrack feeling as well. The vocals were just so good!

I agree that listening experience is important for many people and these reasons you put out are probably the main reasons people want from an album but my unpopular opinion is that I'd rather take the experimental genre fusion and little bit chaotic route in an album with good songs. It's just my opinion but yours is valid btw!

THE TOP 10...IJBOL It's a lot more different than the bookies expected. I'm happy that Israel didn't win but my jaw dropped when I found out how many televotes it got, even juries didn't give that many points. It got 12 points from 15 countries, like what the fuck, did they know who were they voting for? Like pity votes? Anyways, Croatia was robbed. Their song was a total banger and the show with staging was a real show. I loved the Swiss singer's vocals but the song wasn't that memorable. I only remember the high notes and I think juries favorites are always the ones who hit high notes. I did listen to the Swiss song after I read that they won and the song is good, very theatrical but again...I loved Croatia a bit more. I'm tired that the jury votes are always combined with televotes, look what happened last year. Like can they combine like only 25% of the jury votes next time? I'm surprised that Ukraine got 3rd, their song was good but it was predicted that they're getting a 7th place or something. Not gonna lie, I love that France and Italy have been constantly in the top 10 this decade. They keep sending strong entries. Super proud of Ireland, they did an amazing job because these past years the Irish entries flopped but now they sent a very unique and bold and it did amazingly well! Proud of Armenia as well, I love when people embrace their culture and I'm glad that they got a 9th place!

Talking about Switzerland, I loved Swiss entry in 2021!!

I think I should've done this last week but if anyone cares, here are my this year's favorites or stand-outs (non-qualified and qualified). Although, I do not think that this year is the weakest one of the 2020s decade. 2021 still remains as the best one: The Netherlands: Joost Klein - Europapa (this entry was my winner ) Ireland: Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue (the best entry, so unique but too good for Eurovision, their song and performance is next level, also the song is my kind of music taste. Staging is so theatrical and dramatic and I love it) Croatia: Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim (a total fire banger, reminds me of Rammstein but on acid, staging is so chaotic and so alive) UK: Olly Alexander - Dizzy (I loved Years & Years when I was young, so nostalgia plays big role on this one hahah, I kinda love the club vibes in this one) Ukraine: alyona alyona & Jerry Heil - Teresa & Maria (Ukraine always serves imo, I love their voices and I kinda loved the meaning of it. Song is beautiful for sure) Armenia: Ladavina - Jako (this should be a textbook example of a real Eurovision song - embracing your culture!) Lithuania: Silvester Belt - Luktelk (that's a banger, my head was this the whole song - ) Estonia: 5MIINUST x Puuluup - (nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi (such a chaotic, silly and fun song, a party starter!) Finland: Windows95man - No Rules! (this is so what the fuck in the best way possible, it's so funny, humour is on point!)
