I'm probably quirky for this but I'll say it: Manifesting an album without a title track - so the album's name is not a song in that album. Like AKA or Paradise (technically there is a song called Paradise but it's not in that EP). Like Taylor has albums without title tracks for example Reputation or Folklore or like Lorde has Pure Heroine or Florence has Ceremonials ect.

When California came out I thought and heard she said: "I'll pick up all of your folks and all of your rolling stones", thinking that she would pick up his friends who are rolling stones-type people but I was surprised that she actually sang: "I'll pick up all of your Vogues and all of your Rolling Stones" and meant them as magazines, I felt kinda dumb then ngl And I also thought she sang: "Cause this is crazy like I'll catch you on the flipside" and not "Cause this is crazy love..."

I recently realised that she says "jazz and blues" in Salvatore too, so I understand why she changed it, although it would've been iconic ("jazz and blues" was like the "candle in the wind" of Honeymoon era). Violet Sings The Blues would've been legendary though, it got me thinking that maybe Violet is her? Maybe Violet is Lizzy? In Patent Leather Do-Over she mentions Violet who was a blonde woman. She was blonde when she was Lizzy Grant and she dyed her hair black when she was already Lana Del Rey. Maybe it was Lizzy who bent backwards over the grass? She mentions violets (not the name) in Honeymoon title track though. But yeah, just thoughts...

In The Blackest Day, there has always been a debate whether the line is: "It's not easy for me to talk about, I have heavy heartstrings" Or "It's not easy for me to talk about, a half-life in lost dreams" For me, I have always heard the "I have heavy heartstrings part", that's coming from someone who has listened to that song with full volume with headphones for hours. I have never heard "a half-life in lost dreams" and it doesn't really make sense either, what the heck does it even mean?

I still do not hear her saying "I was so wrong not to doubt, your Medellín, tangerine dreams" in Salvatore. Like I don't care that it's in Genius or AzLyrics or LanaWiki, I just don't hear it! Ever since I heard this song I have heard this part as "I was so wrong not to tell, I'm in regine, tangerine dreams". Like I have heard the song with headphones, full volume million times and I still hear her saying "regine", I can literally hear her saying the "re" part. Many other people have heard that too. I used to think (I still kinda think) that California was partially about suicide because of the line: "I shouldn't have done it, but I read it in your letter". Because of the word letter, I thought she was reading a suicide note. I've read that some people have thought that too. Still the song is sad.

I remember discovering him in 2014 while watching a French music channel on TV. I was hypnotized the same way as when I discovered Lana. 'Christine' was the first song I heard from him. It's so timeless and mesmerizing. The French version is superior to the English one, I don't even really like 'Tilted'. 'Chaleur Humaine' is one of the best albums ever released. I haven't really kept track of his latest songs but I once saw Tears Can Be So Soft on TV and I really loved it. Reminded me of old-school alt music.
