I feel like she was kinda upset over Plastic Hearts flopping in the charts (was it like only 5th in the charts? I'm pretty sure it didn't get a no.1) and the singles weren't really successful either so she tried to do a pop comback ig Which is sad because rock is her best genre, Plastic Hearts is really amazing too and Midnight Sky is her best lead to date. Manifesting her next album to be a rock album, I also need some gritter Fly On The Wall vibes too

Why does it look like an album cover

Was there a real domino effect in her Mexico shows? What was the reason for it tho? People are already accusing her for being a satanist and such

I love the political songs in LFL, I kinda love the quirky production which flirts between folk, electronica, soft rock, pop, hip hop, trap, indie and ballads. I think it is folktronica And I love the lyrics too, they're kinda campy and have a quirk feel

I was just about to say it lol

I remember someone said that 13 Beaches sounds like Hans Zimmer's Time and I listened to it then and they're actually very alike. You can actually sing 13 Beaches over it it's probably because of Dan Heath's influence, he did the orchestra for 13 Beaches and he has previously worked with Hans Zimmer! Also Your Girl really reminds me of Portishead's Glory Box, especially when the bluesy jazzy strings appear: Nostalghia's Be My Man and Weyes Blood's Mirror Forever, in my opinion, are kinda similar melodically to Ultraviolence the title track:

This!!!! Labels are behind this, they are the ones who take advantages of artists to earn money from them and rule in the charts. That's why they let some artists switch album release dates, when an other artist from the same label is trying to release an album on that same date too (like Taylor's Red TV and Adele's 30) - because they're trying to earn as much money as possible and to rule at the top of the charts as long as possible.

asking this question (which has been in my mind for a long time) from the better thread - whom is Honeymoon title track about? I still have a feeling that this song is fictional or some kind of dramatized -
her team does that intensive marketing though, taylor herself rarely posts about that exclusive shit. republic records has to use that advantage to get cash lol labels always use their artists fame for money, it's a known thing

I listened to Your Girl many many times today after a long time and it got me thinking - whom is Your Girl really about? and the "been gone for three years" thing too, like I know it's about her fame but the song isn't about Barrie and it doesn't seem to be about that Jim/cult thing either right? at first I thought it was about her ex Rob (or Ron, I kinda forgot his name) whom she wrote Yayo and Heroin about, like he died in early Jan 2011 and she wrote that song in late 2013 so it kinda would've be almost three years since his death, so he would've been gone for three years...but like who has been gone for three years - Lana or the guy she's referring to? or is it about her Lizzy days? and what does Versailles have to do with it? Like did she really mention the palace in France or is it a place in the US with the same name? idk just thinking thoughts and probably overthinking it, as always
