Oh yeah I have heard it. This version kind of sucks but naturally it is a demo. I think Lana misspoke when she said verse as a chorus because the demo chorus is still final chorus though. Maybe she's referring just to the clothes line though. Because it was always called Lust For Life according to her.

Interesting there's a version of the title track where the chorus is the verse. Not a surprise the earlier songs of the album were the better ones.

The only real delusion is the idea we know exactly what Lana's intentions are and we as fans know if something is scrapped or not. And yes Venice Bitch demo fits perfectly into the discussion because she clearly ended up releasing something you and Candy Necklace would say is scrapped and worth leaking because it will never get released. "That song started out really revealing," she says. "I wanted to summarise my whole experience over the last six years; and then I realised, I don't want to reveal everything." Once the initial version was "out of my system", she says, the recording was "deleted completely then started from scratch". The lyrics became more vague and more hopeful; and the re-recorded version ends with Del Rey referencing Neil Young: "I want to move out of the black, into the blue".
