i think she has stayed the same, but what we see now is a more organic lana! i think this line mainly focuses on her morals etc, but that’s just my interpretation. i definitely agree there’s a difference esp post 2020 like you said, i think we actually see her most authentic self. this is just my opinion tho! she is a “writer first” and violets was released in 2020, and i think this was one of her greatest releases for that reason. arguably her best work… also, bb being released the next year shows us an even deeper level of lana that we didn’t get as much as before. we would have never got that pre violets it’s definitely interesting to think about <3

can i ask why an earth we would assume she was a stripper based on go go dancer and tropico? is she also marilyn monroe? i think it’s very easy to assume sex work as in stripping rather than all of the other relationship tropes that can have similar context, her songs with these contexts are mainly about men she had relationships/interactions with. also, i’m sure we all know sex work can be damaging to people’s mental health in some cases so IF she had done in the past, and clearly is not anymore ( i do not think she ever was a stripper but i digress ) i see no benefit to discourse on it out of respect.
