OKurr just finished my first listen.... the last four tracks didn't grab me immediately but everything before that is soo insane irdgaf

this alwayyssss sends me carrying 15 different items in her hands as per usual

honestly. I had to take a step back and reevaluate my jack opinions after that

after a few listens I must say Peter is the supreme song from this entire double album... it's the only one which could elicit a genuine emotional reaction in me (and Robin too to a lesser extent) something about the pains she goes to tie most of the other songs so clearly to muses or narratives in her life the public knows completely turns me off from them idk.. I think this is also why I love folklore and evermore more than anything else from her recent discography, with those two the music is allowed to speak for itself.. I always wonder what my opinion on a lot of songs would be if I knew less of the "lore"

literally I’ve never been able to get into Billie’s music previously but the snippets I’ve heard from these new songs have me mooooooving I’m rly excited for the album tbh

even tho we still seem to learn nothing concrete there are somehow enough hints and teases that with every day I get more and more excited for this album…. the Neil Young intro and western outfit for Coachella Weekend 2 were really the perfect touch
