We were all jumping to wild conclusions. 😂😂😂😂

It looks like the security of Instagram is pretty flimsy, and there were about 45 major drivers that came into attention recently in cyber security news. Being a popular person you are way more prone to cyber attacks. https://www.deccanherald.com/brandspot/sponsored/how-to-hack-instagram-accounts-and-passwords-2647465

The ironic thing is so many people are obsessed with their following and presence on social media and she just deletes it all and starts over. I've been thinking about doing the same thing for some time. Not just because I've said and done a lot of dumb shit on social media, but there is something to be said about the benefits of what a reset does to your thinking. Considering there seems to be a lot more pressure on people like her, it's understandable to need to make changes like that. Even though they may seem extreme, it doesn't mean it's unhealthy or that she's crazy. https://medium.com/personal-growth/how-to-free-yourself-by-starting-over-with-social-media-66619628d84b https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/emotional-fitness/201001/10-ways-and-reasons-you-can-start-over

I hope she's okay. A lot of popular people limit who can follow their accounts, due to the nasty comments, generally weird creepers, etc. But who knows. It's wild how much content and followers out there almost revolve their lives around people like her. That's a lot of pressure. I could imagine it gets pretty overwhelming at times.

Take Me Home, Country Roads (John Denver Cover) [SINGLE] - December 1st, 2023
Rivers replied to Elle's topic in New Releases
A more intimate and calm version of the song. Sure, could have some strings in there and maybe more guitar, but some parts were sung more interestingly and it seems the tone is more delicate. There original has a lot going on and she really tries to get you closer to the imagery by toning it down. I feel it's easier for me to picture the scenes in my mind with Lana's version. The song already meant a lot to me, and now much more so. -
The choir section of this song gets me everytime...

The song It Won't Seem Like Christmas (Without You) was written by J. A. Balthrop and was first recorded and released by Elvis Presley in 1971. 💙 https://youtu.be/FvEKtn876cw?si=8g6fU23GkL_OngfX -

Lana tips and tricks: If someone has been at your house all day and you want them to go but you don't want to be rude, set your motion lights to 30 seconds. Sit right next to the light and keep activating the light every 30 seconds so it keeps blinding them until they can't stand it anymore. All the while make strange comments such as, you enjoy the energy of the shadows, and keep activating the motion light. 💡 Follow for more of Lanas life hacks. -

I thought the interview was interesting and liked hearing about the more existential things Lana thinks about and how she feels these days. I thought it was kind of a heady interview but I didn't like how the underlying theme seemed that the interviewer was constantly trying to find some type of fault, or tease her about her house decorations. It's like she let her into her house and the whole time she's trying to find what is wrong. Seemed a bit rude. I thought there were quite a few interesting things she talked about and described about herself. -
I was gonna play this song for campfire karaoke night and I just realized Elizabeth Cotton plays the strings upside down. 🙃

NYC is a madhouse, it's cold AF, and you have to live in an apartment or row house. Two thumbs down.

The only singer I can find that is remotely comparable to Lanas music and style was Amy Winehouse. Lana is the most emotionally profound, nostalgic, classy, eclectic, singer/poet of the past 13 years. Change my mind.

It's gonna be a blue, blue blue blue Christmas... 💙

She said I hope you find yourself, before she finds someone else, but she already knows Im never gonna find myself. *Hits whiskey*

I bought a Lana record from Walmart in the US for the first time recently and realized they offer return protection for a couple bucks. So I can scratch it til it burns out and then get a brand-new one in 2 years. I couldn't believe it. I'm trying to buy all my scratching records through them for now on.
