I can't believe how bad this song is. Terrible.

Album is not bad at all, I expected way worse after I Luv It. It's on the slower side though, I also thought it would be a mostly all bops album. It only has 11 tracks, one of them under 2 minutes which is basically another boring interlude along the other 3 interludes. Hopefully that deluxe is true, the album needs more tracks, especially upbeat ones. My favorites: 1) BOAT 2) He Knows 3) TwentySomethings 4) Hot Uptown

I recently rediscovered her album "Discipline". I've only hear her newer stuff (from All for You onwards) and to me this is her best album. It was SO ahead of that time it's insane. It still sounds so fresh today. Love the futuristic soundscape. I know it's not her most personal work since she didn't wrote a single word on it, but is still very Janet too somehow. The booklet is amazing too, so many cool photos. It's her most conceptual album aesthetic and sonically wise. Can't stop listening to it. A shame she doesn't seem interested on music anymore.

Girl, so confusing is my second fave on the album and yas is the new single. I can't win enough with her. That song is bombastic, so unique and addicting.

Apparentely will be released January 2025. I expected end of 2024 but oh well.

In a recent interview she said that she could do something with Galaxies but she hasn't in mind doing more old stuff apart from that song and I'm honestly glad to read that because I prefer new songs. Though I would love to see "Last thing on your list" on an album, I guess it should have been in this one, not in the future one. I like Get you back too but I think I didn't played that song that much back then either so maybe that's why. The only skip for me is that atrocious 2024 version, gosh the original was perfect, add those new verses if you want but changing the chorus and bridge it had? the song was literally murdered. For someone new that didn't heard the original I guess it's a good song anyway but for old fans, lol.

Yeah apparently she was tired because of the US tour and then her best friend passing by cancer left her in a bad mood. She needs time with her family she said so I guess I get the reason why she delayed this.

She is working on her second album already, lol girl really wants to make up for all the time she couldn't release anything. I guess it could be released in 2025 to be honest. I love all 9 new tracks. Then Get you back and Looking for love are pretty good too though I would have prefered another 2 new tracks.

What an STELLAR album she made. But girl you destroyed "I Took a Little Something" please if anyone's reading put the 2011 version and delete this before you regret. Everything else is a 10/10. What an album, so easy to listen to.

Hate that this is only 4 songs long after all the hype and the waiting... BUT it's so good I'll take it anyway. Heat is a super banger.

360 is such a bop, best song on the album in my opinon. So infectious. Is the opener for a reason.

Ok It hurts me to recognize I was wrong. I expected another summer bop, an upbeat funky track judging from that teaser. Those teaser sounds appears just like 10 to 15 seconds throughout all the song, I am so sad. I hate when they tease wrongly like this. I still like this though, I just expected something totally different but really love the vídeo and the lyrics are genius. Shame it is a midtempo track. I will get used to it I guess.

I have a feeling it will be even better. That bass is amazing and the line we know is iconic. "Please, don't bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice". Just pure pop poetry.

I love the album cover, it's simple but effective. The CD design is amazing too. Can't wait for this. It's a shame she is releasing this at the end of summer when this era is screaming summer vibe all over the place. Should have released it end of this month or early July.

It's so tiring. At least she confirmed a new song and that the album is finished and coming (later this year?) But I find hilarious that she is saying she needs that "spark" to release the album. Girl, if in 10 years you didn't have it with the album what is gonna change now?. I kinda feel bad for her because as she says, no one's gonna give her back those 10 years both personally and professionally but I'm not sure what is holding her back this time to release it now that she actually CAN. I guess she went through hell though.

Apparently the album will be upbeat, she said "sure is!" when I asked her and that she "can't wait to share it" which I guess it means it's more advanced than I thought.

Well, certainly the title chosen for the supposed second album was well chosen because it definitely is being a torture waiting for it.

Ok so she confirmed on an instagram story that an album (and an interior design TV show) is in the works. 20 years later after her last single "A Toast to Men". I guess you remember her (only) hit "I Wanna Be Bad" from 2001 and if you don't you are not a true pop culture fan, lol. Her debut album "Willa was Here" is one of the best pop albums of the bubblegumpop era. Her unreleased album "Sexysexobsessive" remains unleaked except for a handful of songs. In 2019 she came back to spotlight because she was on a TV show of interior design and had multiple interviews. In all of them she was asked about returning to music and always said no. She confirmed she was still writing songs though. Apparentely she is coming with disco/dance/upbeat music (asked her about it), which is good news in my book, I was afraid about folk/country music. I don't know why her change of heart but I'm glad. She said she "connected" again with it because she was meant for creating art in one way (music) or another (interior design).

Her previous one is immaculate. I expect this one to be more upbeat and with a nice vintage booklet. Don't prove me wrong, girl.

I love this chick. She is releasing her debut album "Something in the air" in 11 days. Great cover and physicals for the first time in her career. It sounds pretty promising, she is amazing at creating melodies. How come it's been two years since the last post? don't sleep on her.
