I tried so hard to get into bridgerton and i swear I don't know what is wrong with me I just don't like how fast paced it is but I tried so hard to get into it because I watched queen charlotte a bridgerton story and i enjoyed it (made me erupt in tears) I feel like the main characters for bridgerton aren't as likeable for me but I only watched the first episode I think

i started the crown like a year ago and I literally cannot finish it too long :') also i started downton abbey like 2 years ago and at this point i give up. I went back into it several times and I've completely lost the plot. I couldn't tell you what happened last season for the life of me. It's like immediately after I finish a season, I forget all of it. All I know is that edith also i've been wanting to watch clueless for so long but netflix decided to get rid of it argh also i started watching anatomy of a fall and i just have a talent of not being able to finish things

couldn't find a forum for book recommendations :( i promise i looked everywhere 😭 for the longest time, I've been wanting to read one of those dreamy novellas where you just live inside the character's head while they are reflecting on the past, in the form of stories, with beautiful settings and words. There's a lot of children's picture books that bring this same feeling of nostalgia ig (like you can feel the character's nostalgia you know what i mean?? not making sense), one of my favorite books in my childhood was the evolution of calpurnia tate(I have reread that book even when I've gotten older than the recommended age 😂) but I can't find any books that are for older audiences that replicate this feeling. Recommendations? I like reading historical fiction. Only condition is that it has to make me cry, which honestly isn't that hard to do lol
