Y'all I had a vision that Lana released the album next week and we are getting the lead single tomorrow
-
My opinion for the setlist for Stagecoach and her tour onward, if the album is to be released in February: 1. "The Mirror" 2. Shades Of Cool 3. Tough 4. Lasso track 5. Ride monologue/Ride - shortened 6. Born To Die - shortened/crowd interaction 7. Taco Truck/Judah Smith Interlude - shortened 8. The Grants 9. Did you know there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd 10. Norman Fucking Rockwell - shortened 11. Arcadia 12. Lasso track 13. Video Games 14. Wild At Heart 15. Chemtrails Over The Country Club 16. Heroin 17. Hope is a dangerous thing... - costume change 18. Get Free - shortened/A&W (Jimmy)/ Young & Beautiful - shortened For the Stagecoach, the whole setlist might change, since it's a country festival. I know usually Lana has kept the same setlist for years besides additions of her new or old songs, but country is a specific genre. I don't expect Lana to perform at a country festival and they have her not change her setlist to make it more country. So, this is my list, depending on how long her performance is. And probably there will be more incorporation of country-sounding songs for Stagecoach like Dance Till We Die, Take Me Home Country Roads, White Dress, etc. My setlist was just a general setlist more so for her era tour for Lasso.

Pawn Shop Blues vs Watercolor Eyes

Yeah, I agree. I think Chemtrails is more cohesive, and quite a good album. But I think it lacks playable. Only one or two songs off the albums are listenable/playable all the time. I just wished the album were more in that way. It doesn't even have to be upbeat tracks, but just something more. I feel like if it were, it wouldn't be my second the last favorite albums from Lana. Let's hope Lasso isn't a Chemtrails 2.0

I think on Fishtail, it matched the vibe of the song and the section of the album. It was bearable to listen to and had the "nightcore" vibe. On Tulsa Jesus Freak, I quite hated it. It was off putting and wasn't done right, in my opinion.
-
Yes, that's what I was thinking when she said southern dark gothic!! Dragonslayer, Unidentified Flying Bill, Jesus, like those give me those vibes. But due to these tarot readings and leakers/rumors, I don't think this album will have any unreleased songs.
-
So then based on these readings, we can expect the album tracklist to be around 11-12 tracks, similar to Ultraviolence standard version. Which works well, because Ultraviolence is quiet dark in lyrics and tune, and from Lana has told us, Lasso will be southern gothic, dark production wise. I think it would be insane if Lasso will eventually be as big as Ultraviolence in the country industry. (Just guessing/assumption, not really thinking it will be because it's country) Edit: y'all ate this reading up

No thanks, they can keep it!

It's kind like they know some things that are happening. Like they predicted Katy Perry's futuristic era before it was announced, Lana Del Rey x Quavo's single coming out in the summertime this year. But also, it just looks like they are simply *predicting* the things that might happen, but actually giving true insight about the things ahead. Like some stuff is just aimless predictions about things that people could see a mile away. And then other things are predictions that are quite direct and then it happens. So, we could say that they are a true insider, but also 60% of the things they predicted this year didn't happen (at least yet), and the 40% they predicted has happened and its quite direct. So, if they are true about the singles coming out in October to early November, then we could expect an announcement either the last week of September, or the week of the single drop. They don't give direct information about if there will be singles coming out around the same time, or just one single between October-November and then the second single in December. Also, this very well could not be the singles, and something else. Because didn't other insiders (don't know if they are true or not), say that there's a secret project from Del Rey. So it could be that secret project coming out October to early November. I wouldn't believe singles are coming out during the expected time unless Lana announcing them near that date. We very well could be getting the singles in December and something else during expected time. Whether a secret project, perfume, or vinyl's, who knows yet.

Same here, I'm scared

THE ALBUM ART FOR LASSO JUST LEAKED ON GOOGLE!!! OMG
-
What I need from Lasso next year: - Jimmy Gnecco as an interlude - Dolly Parton, Nikki Lane, and Holly Macve as the sole features on this album (not no man jk) - Velvet Crowbar needs to be on this album idc - An ambience/soundscape on songs, I need to feel immersed in this album - Lana's old singing style (dark and heavy vocals and different funky cadences) - Pawn Shop Blues, Fine China, My Momma ON THIS ALBUM PLEASE - This album better be over 12 tracks; I don't want another Chemtrails. At least 13 tracks, aiming for 15 tracks - Linda Ronstadt cover on this album, she should do 'Long Long Time' or 'Blue Bayou' - Like Beyoncé's album, even if the sound isn't country, I need the lyrics to evoke country themes - She should sample other songs from her discography like she did some songs on Ocean Blvd - VOCALS PLEASE, love Lana to literal death, but lately the vocals on her songs aren't hitting as they use to. So, I need some songs on this album to show her haters she can really sing - Hey Blue Baby, PGICM, IMBSFBH, Stand By Your Man needs to be on this album, the ones she showcased in 2018 and 2022 - Dark americana country, with southern gothic elements, but I would really appreciate different experimental sounds on this album (ex. country trap/hip-hop) - Don't expect the setlist to change after this album drops but she needs to put many songs from this album on the setlist, as well as more Blue Banisters and Chemtrails songs because those give the vibe for Lasso - I NEED THIS ERA TO REMIND ME OF HER PAST!! Lately, ever since NFR!, Lana's era for her last three albums haven't been giving anything really. Ocean Blvd had fantastic photoshoots, and her tour has been really good. But I need more than that. Promote the hell out of this album until it becomes annoying. Do a proper album lineup (announcement - lead single - album announcement - second single - album teaser - album trailer - third single - album drop). Also, the music videos and photoshoots need to evoke COUNTRY COUNTRY COUNTRYY! Need horses, beers, haystacks, cowboy boots, farms, barns, wildlife, everything of such in this era. I want to be fully immersed in the country experience. And then after the album drops, interviews too. I know Lana doesn't do interviews anymore like that, but one or two is perfectly fine. I feel like the album won't do well if she doesn't promote her album. I know country is a popular genre, especially nowadays, but that doesn't mean it won't flop. Lana's fan isn't super big on country, as I've been seeing all over X and other platforms. So, she needs to promote it well to intrigue her fans, and those outside her fanbase. If Lana does this right, with a correct album lineup and features, I can see this being NFR! era, or at LEAST, Lust For Life era like. Where Lana was active and people like the album for the most part. She needs to have the right features on this album if any. Bring old country artists that everyone knows or love and introduce new country artists to the game. Or even non-country artists too! We saw that with Quavo, how Quavo fans boosted Lana's popularity more, and they began listening to other projects/singles by her. I love Lana Del Rey, and her music and hopefully she does this properly. If she does, I just know this album will be album of the year during of 2025 at the Grammy's. And if not, I'm sure in due time the album will have over 1.2 million streams. All love and Lana won't see this probably or even care but yeah, I'm just bored LOL xo
