  3. Y'all we aren't getting Henry tonight nor this month Let's all wish it to come in March!!
  4. I came back to three new pages on this thread, got me thinking there's some sorta news

    Blood Orange

Listened to Negro Swan just now, and I thought this album would've surpassed Coastal Grooves, or at the very least be above Cupid Deluxe for me. But actually, it's not. It's above Freetown Sound definitely, but I thought it would've been my number two favorite album from him Negro Swan is definitely more experimental album, purely because he dove into more R&B production in this album. The funky disco vibes were diminished, and I barely felt it. I'm glad this album stripped back it's funky vibe though, it gave me a breather. I like this album production wise but sonically as a whole, it doesn't compare with Coastal Grooves or Cupid Deluxe. Can't wait to listen to Angel's Pulse!!
  6. WAIITT cause those are all the photos she put on her Instagram. So maybe that IS the aesthetic. Okay I'm excited now

FINALLY POSTED YESSIRR!! now drop that single
  9. OKAY FINALLY SOMEWHEREE I was confused when I saw this because I thought she going to headline. But I went back to the original poster, and I think they did that just to show appreciation for the other artists. So, with this information, we could be getting something very soon. I still don't think we'll have anything this month in terms of new music, but I hope she surprises me.

It's honestly crazyy, like I thought his thread would have at least 10 pages
  11. Updated list of albums I'll be listening to from February to May!!; February --------- Invitation to Her's by Her's Short n Sweet (Deluxe) by Sabrina Carpenter - the new tracks About Time by Sabrina Claudio Alter Ego by LISA - ima listen to it on release March --------- Ruby by JENNIE - same with this one 1989 by Taylor Swift - I feel scared doing this, but I'll try RATKING by Brimheim Supercry by Emma Louise Visions by Grimes - excited for this one April --------- Superclean Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 by The Marías This Old Dog by Mac DeMarco Red Moon In Venus by Kali Uchis VOL. 1 by Novulent May --------- Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain Currents by Tame Impala White Pony by Deftones - a relisten bc I forgot how a lot of album sounds Depression Cherry by Beach House The Right Person Will Stay by Lana Del Rey - assuming it drops in May Vie by Doja Cat - will be streaming in the summer I usually listen to an album a week so I prepared until May. I don't usually prep this much but I have so many albums saved that I want to listen to. I'll still be finishing Blood Orange's discography with his last two albums. Hopefully he drops sometime this year. I won't be listening to Lady Gaga's album because I don't really care to, but if any features on the album that I'll like, I will check it out. I know there's only four weeks in a month, so the months you see more than four is because I don't know if I'll like those albums, so I added more to make sure I'm set for the week.

From the ones I listened to: Coastal Grooves > Cupid Deluxe > Freetown Sound. I have a feeling that I'll like his albums as his popular releases on Spotify. It being Coastal Grooves then Negro Swan, Cupid Deluxe, Angel's Pulse and then Freetown Sound. I can't wait for his upcoming project too; it looks like his shared a photo of him in the studio today

I listened to Perverts a couple of minutes ago!! Usually when I listen to an album, I sit down, pull up the lyrics on Genius, and then do an initial ranking after listening to it. But I knew with this album/EP, it was going to be more instrumental, ambient heavy then lyrically heavy unlike Preacher's Daughter (haven't listened to it yet). So instead of doing my usual set up, I just laid on my bed reading webtoon comics and listened to it in the background of my headphones. Which definitely was the right thing to do. It was nice background music, calming, melancholic if you will. I really like this project even though at first, I was really skeptical about listening to it. Here's my ranking after listening to the entire project; Overall, I really love this project!! I saved six songs out of nine which is impressive for a long ass album and dark ambient project. I'm going to check out Preacher's Daughter later on in May, because I have other albums in line to listen to, but I'm interested in her debut album. Definitely will be playing these songs at night during a car ride home or while walking.
  14. Tyler dropped his album on a Monday, so it's possible to have an album drop any other than a Friday and still get traction

    SZA

She lowk could've kept these songs. Take You Down could've been released as a single . In my opinion, Joni was not that appealing to me and Don didn't save it. PSA, I thought this was going to be officially extended not the same 1:39 song that's on her YouTube. If that's the case, I would've been fine listening to it on YouTube or Soundcloud and personally I didn't like the original Open Arms version on SOS, so I don't care for her solo version that much but I'm glad she has so many opportunities with her film and Halftime Show!!
  16. I'm not usually negative on here but 248 pages on this thread for basically nothing... it's tiring at this point, all we're doing rn is wishful thinking. I mean lana come on
  17. Sabrina's short n sweet deluxe coming on valentine's day makes me think we aren't getting Henry or any other single from TRPWS on feb 14th. I'm starting to think lead single in March and second single in April. Then she might premiere a third single at Stagecoach to drop after the album release
  18. Yess that and I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) are really good. I mean I don't care for the message too much in ICFH(NRIC) but I like the western beat and guitar. That would so fit Lana's vibe
  19. I was relistening to TTPD to see if I still hate it (I do) but I really like Guilty as Sin?, and Jack produced that track. I really like that country vibe the song gives off, and imagine Lana with her beautifully singing was on a beat like that WE NEED THIS ALBUM
  20. Even though she's not releasing her singles for the album, she's reaching a peak on Spotify. Tomorrow will be the second time she reaches 60 million Spotify listeners, and with the steady rate of The Abyss, I could see her passing her peak 64 million This would be an amazing time drop the Henry single, but she probably won't
  21. What happens if that one person is right and we aren't getting anything in February, but instead in March...
  22. She's already being active on the first day of February that means smth has to come this month! Henry, more UK tour dates, US tour dates, snippets, interviews, at least something interesting
  23. So, now we got The Weeknd x Lana again on his album, I wonder if Lady Gaga x Lana is true. Because that's what the streets were saying whether it's true or not

    The Weeknd

Ima write down my opinions & ratings on the tracks as I listen to them I took a break to digest the album because it's mad long. Now I'm back to review that last 10 tracks! FINAL THOUGHTS: I like this album a lot as an introduction to The Weeknd's discography. The songs were interesting and unique. Even though the songs were long (and was the album ) I didn't feel like any of the songs were long, besides Enjoy The Show. I'm not tempted to visit his past albums, but if he has more albums coming in the future under The Weeknd, or a different name, I'll definitely check them out. My top five is 1. Baptized In Fear, 2. Take Me Back To LA, 3. Give Me Mercy, 4. Open Hearts, 5. Wake Me Up. Lana's feature on The Abyss was good, it's top ten for me, but there's better songs with them out there. The songs I don't care for besides the instrumentals are Enjoy The Show, Reflections Laughing, & São Paulo. (And yes, this is my first time listening to him spare me)
