You like lots of Yeah Yeah Yeahs contemporaries--how do you feel about the Jesuses of indie?
-
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat How has she kept this under wraps? She has the loudest mouth ever! Sounds exciting, though. Ellie's tracklist has already come out so it would probably be for BWET...leaving one collab to go. RED FLAME PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASE.
-
I don't know ya, fm, but I hope you bought that copy in-store and skipped the astronomic shipping
-
Liking for the flawless gif. I could get into her
-
We never saw the impersonators filming with her outside. Pray they aren't just mugging in a studio fog machine, Jamie King-in-Summertime Sadness style.
-
Guys, that thing with the "You" lyrics is probably the album insert with credits, etc., not the back. If it were the back, whoever took the photo would have needed to buy two copies.

Sent! "Royals" isn't my favorite, but "The Love Club", "Bravado", and "Swingin' Party" all stand up to the quality of "Tennis Court", give those a try Done!

Neon Trailer Park Artist Spanish Junky Buttercup Star-Spangled Casino Girlfriend Now that's a good one. Come on, folks, so many good ones have gone unused, including surf, bollywood, pin-up, princesa...

Eh, a very small-time band I listen to just released an album on clear green vinyl, so it can't be that expensive.
-
Are you saying that's the final track we need to know? I'm still missing a few in my list. - 212 (feat. Lazy Jay) - ATM Jam (feat. Pharrell) - Bizarra - Black Cherry - Idle Delilah - JFK (which she finally confirmed today) - Miss Amor - Miss Camaraderie - No Problems - Soda - Yung Rapunxel 11/16 songs 2/4 collabs I'm thinking "Idle Delilah" must be the Disclosure collab--if it's going on her album. Praying for "Bambi" and "Red Flame"

NEEDS Driving in Cars With Boys, imo

Oh shit! Remember when the 1991 EP was going to consist of 212, 1991, and Grand Prix? Well Grand Prix didn't just disappear, never to be heard again. It's now Miss Camaraderie

End of the World serves my life on a platter, it's so good. s/o to Smile and Cold Nites (if it counts). Also might be the only person who loves Your Eyes.

From a mod to you, keep it light on trading talk, folks

I couldn't just recommend him the entire EP
-
She was also talking about rappers. It was just an observation on why poor teenagers gravitate to songs that describe a heightened amount of opulence, and that's what "Royals" is about. I don't see why her comment on Lana is offensive. She does sing about this stuff and Lorde clearly enjoys it despite not relating. Will do! (Um I have a master download of her EP + a few things, is that okay?)

@@Madrigal's Guide to Azealia Banks: OBVIOUSLY Now, although Andrew recommended "No Problems", it's an Angel diss track so let's gloss right on over that In my opinion, here are two essentials: And now it's between choosing a favorite of mine or another capital-E Essential. Essential, I suppose: But come back for fewer singles and more deep cuts once you fall in love with these
-
OMG, so all her non-rap and then some of her most abrasive rap I couldn't tell you all the names of the Angel songs but I'll take a critical listen to her album...I try to do that with most things. Definitely heard the Azealia ~diss track~ and her voice was very unpleasant. I didn't think you'd never heard 212, so I'm going to make you listen to that as a staple, and then three additional tracks. But for Jake's sake...I'll meet you in the Azealia thread!
-
Here's what I'm working with, as far as summer playlists go:
-
OMG this is album cover material right here, especially in my greyscale collection. Someone add her logo and give me life
-
When she gives us something to talk about, we'll start. Shh we're luring Madrigal back into the thread full-time.
-
This is obvious bias, Azealia has some of the best flow out there in young female rappers--young rappers, period I'm pretty sure she was talking about Rita Ora ("steal your look and sound" --> Ora jacking both from Rihanna). Vom, though, Charli + Azealia is an amazing pair. While we're here, I threw my opinions to the side and listened to some Angel songs for your sake and was unimpressed across the board. So, your turn with Azealia
