I'm compulsively listening to it on a loop since it got leaked and I couldn't for the life of me pinpoint which other Lana song it reminded me and I realized to my stupor that it's actually Next To Me, which explain why both songs are amongst my ultimate fav Lana songs, the melody is kind of reminiscent in the verses, but like an acid-washed, high, much more softer and pastel version of Next To Me mixed with a happier, narcoswing version of Kill Kill
 
In less arrogant words I love this song to death, it slays me, it simply slays me
 
Also for some reasons it makes me think of Rob's Hawaiian shirts haha I wonder if he likes it, as it also reminds me of the tropical vibes of Florida Kilos and it's his fav

Also I forgot to say, everytime she says "beautiful" my life flashes before my eyes and I go from hell to heaven and back. This word is definitely forever engraved in my mind as being related to Lana

The last pages of this thread lifted a bit my depression I love you guys I'm so glad I discovered Lana

I honestly don't get why something like St Tropez wouldn't be successful, sorry it's off topic but like, it's pop and upbeat and radio-worthy to me, probably not sounding as I imagine Honeymoon to be like but I don't get it. Again I'm not expecting anything for Honeymoon anyway, even with the song released and her indications, I just know I'd be grateful for songs with similar energy and vibe

I met Lana Del Rey recently, my name is Ashley and this is my M&G story. I met her October 20th of this year and it was horrific. She was rude, not classy and she lost a long time lipster that day. I walked into the $350 M&G and say hello she replies with "fat" and I shook it off because I thought maybe I had heard her wrong. As I approached her and asked to do my pose she stared at me blank faced. I continued talking "you saved my life" I say. "You're the reason I'm alive today". She looks me dead in the eye and says "you'll die soon enough, fatty" and then whispered "obesity". I started crying I had never felt pain like this and she started laughing and said "are you crying? Stop it. Stop it now" and she flicked my vagina. The photographer took the picture and I headed out of the M&G section and that's when Lana started speaking whale to me. I still can't believe this happened. I cried writing this. I wish this weren't true but Lana Del Rey is in fact; a horrible person. Thank you for reading this. And if you don't believe me ask Lady Gaga he was there with me.

Theory:High by the Beach music video shot by Jake Nava was cancelled and we're getting a homemade one shot by Lana with her new MacBook consisting of her lipsyncing the song while in her new Malibu house's bed.

So I just had a wild thought, what if 'High By The Beach' alludes to this scene in Fellini's 8 ½
 

 
I remember reading somewhere that Lana got her inspiration for a more surreal approach for Honeymoon from Fellini, so I'm anxious to hear the song and see the music video to find out whether it's just another song about getting high or something more surreal and intricate
