if I am not mistaken, all beachfronts in California are public property even if the houses/property situated are private
Stars have complained about it for decades but the beaches/water are for everybody

Really creepy though. Paparazzi should get a life

@@intensely- the Democratic party- as a big Barack Obama supporter, (want him on the US Supreme Court after he retires as President), will support Hillary first , though if Bernie were to actually win the nomination, would avidly support him
and would have supported Elizabeth Warren, Deval Patrick, Cory Booker or Jerry Brown (who I supported heavily in 1992 when he ran vs. Bill C.)  had they run.

Wonder if there are other fests that haven't announced the acts yet. Panorama did (the one in NYC a few weeks after Governor's Ball).

Guess it will be driving up to Montreal. They haven't announced which day have they?  Though if she is in Chicago on Thursday, most likely it will be Saturday or Sunday
Also single day tickets not yet on sale

Wonder if Lana is doing anything Olympic related in August???

Yes Lana is declining- She is declining to pay any attention to the haters
She is declining to pay any attention to those that want her to be what she is not (she said this right in the lyric)
She is declining to pay any attention to those that want her to go backwards not forwards
She is declining to be unhappy in her personal life
She is declining to play the #1 celebrity teenage fame game
She is declining all negativity and
She is declinng to sweat the small stuff

She is happy. I am happy she is declining all of the above.

to quote the Sinatra song "She did it HER way"

Long live Lana. The Trailblazer. Where everyone follows her lead and if you don't like it you can beat it, beat it baby.

Lana is now content, because, first, she just released her finest mature album to date

and, the contentment is, her lifetime award as "Trailblazer" given to her by Billboard magazine, which
for the first time, showed that what she is doing has reached massive mass stage proportions and is
being seen by all now as relevant and important, meaning that as the years go on, Lana can keep on keeping on
with what she is doing and doing it HER way and not having to do it any other way.

and that is why she is now smiling, content in her place in the world. She is a true trailblazer.

Lana should do a Lana style on Springsteen's "Bobby Jean"
and do a duet of Born To Run/ Born to Die
    Bruce should do "American"

although we know Bruce is just dying to sing "My pussy tastes like Pepsi-Cola"

(btw- for those that never knew about it, Bruce did a killer live version down under of Lorde's Royals, (seriously he did it serious, not camp) making it his song

    Maleficent 2 soundtrack?
Alice in wonderland 2 (with Johnny Depp, Danny Elfman doing music) soundtrack? Saw a coming attraction, no songs on it yet

Would be great if on M2 Lana gets an original song so it can be Oscar nominated.

Lana's stock has gone up even more, what with America and the world seeing the absolutely horrible live performances of
both Sam Smith and Adele recently. (and then Sam's self-congratulatory fucking up what Sir Ian said).

Maybe there will be a new original song on the Norman R. motorcycle show?

    how cool is that
    #2 headliner
and to think how the haters have said her career is on the decline
Last year Lana was on the second line, this year the headline

seems to me, like the Grateful Dead, Dylan, Springsteen, etc. radio airplay is meaningless

Trailblazer. No other female has done this, for that matter male or female, without radio airplay done this so early in their career.

so far looks like Canada is the closest

Most likely reason Gaga did not win was that Oscar voters never saw the documentary (because) it was a documentary and not a "movie"
the song was in so it wasn't able to get enough votes.
Diane Warren is nominated a lot but has never won, there are many voters who do not think her songs (many of which are very generic) deserve to win an Oscar in the first place. (so those that knew she was the writer some would not vote for her).
Oscar voters most likely also did not bother with 50 shades, so they did not see Weeknds song in the movie.
The other two songs that didn't win were almost unknown, but unknown artists.
Which left Sam Smith's Bond song (which in my opinion was nothing more than a remake of Elton John's Tonight), but was the only song the voters
were familiar with, which is usually what wins. (Plus it was heavily promoted to the Oscar voters).

Other thing is- from what I have heard, the Oscar voters do NOT see the name of the artist only the movie name, which strongly favored Bond,
(and which is why many feared in the score Ennio Morricone would not finally win his first Oscar).

As for subject matter, many of the old conservative men who vote on the Oscars probably are ones where the subject matter (rape/abuse)
is one too familiar for them. The legendary casting couch of Hollywood continues and probably hits close to home for them.
(Much like many in the US still condone the Frat life on college campus, the Animal House culture, which maybe one day will stop but has a long way to go (and that what I considered sabatoge due to the must have been planted article in Rolling Stone  (itself an old boy network) set things back in America many years)
America is very backward these days with some (the conservative Republicans) wanting to bring it back to the 1850s

I listened accidentally to Adele's live performance of When We Were Young at the Brits. I respect Adele, she seems nice and she has a strong voice but I cannot believe how generic her music is in relation to the amount of hype she generated. I imagined Lana sitting there in the audience. What was she thinking? A classy beauty queen with a voice like no other in the business, who has beautiful songs, sits and listen to Adele screaming annoyingly eurovision type of songs. Maybe she was satisfied that she trolled again the fashion press...what a waste, damn that pathological stage fright of hers

Ever notice at events how every single other artist wants to meet Lana (like Adele)
They want to flock to be in her air

Rarified. Like Dylan, Paul Simon, Prince how when they do something (and its very rare for them too) everyone wants to be caught next to them
