  1. Lyrics straight from Rick Nowel's site: I've always heard "Decorate my neck, me I'm indecisive" but yeah this makes a lot more sense. But Rick's site still says "Ah, he's" instead of "Harvey's" so idk really.
  2. Peter Capaldi has officially been announced as the 12th Doctor! How excited are you for the Christmas special/new season of DW? How many of you are fans?
  3. They're playing SS in loads of clubs around town right now. Very hot. It's on their regular playlist and I hear it on the radio all the time!
  4. The avatar is kinda scary so I'd say you were a scary person idk
  5. If Body Electric gets remastered to match the Paradise Tour version.... *faints*
  6. I'm really glad that her old songs leak. If she's not going to do anything with them, no matter how terrible they are, I'm always interested to hear them. I like hearing the development of a song from its skeletal a capella framework to being a fully produced track so, yeah. I like the leaks. When Black Beauty leaked and quickly got removed I was unsure whether it actually leaked or not. I didn't want to ruin the only song confirmed for the album for myself but at the same time... if the song did properly leak and everyone was talking about it, I'd want to join in on the conversation. So I listened to the song and I enjoyed it. I thought BB leaking would hurt the album (maybe not the sales, but the excitement/anticipation) but I was wrong. It only made me more excited and reading the positive reviews about the song on music blogs and review sites felt good and made me really proud of Lana. Same for AFFA. I wasn't that bothered on the other three songs because I don't think they're good enough to re-use for the new album anyway. Lana's not really a fan of reusing songs with the exception of the whole BTD album and Yayo for Paradise. I didn't want BB to leak because this is really the first time that Lana will be writing new music instead of relying on her old lyrics and themes. So i was very excited to hear her working up new ideas. But at the end of it though, I am glad we all got to hear BB. I wouldn't want any more new-album songs to leak from now until very close the release date. But keep the old songs coming. On, So Legit... hoarders and blogs have been talking about it for a few weeks leading up to it's leaking date so I think it was just a badly timed coincidence.
  7. I'm still figuring them out but I wanted to posted what I got anyway. I'm doing the bridges and Starry Eyed now! I'll do them later lol!
  8. Lana doing a song for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.
  9. From Tumblr I think it sums it all up, really.
  10. Tried to get lyrics for it too. It's pretty similar to OP's: You were the freak king of the piercing shop All the girls thought that they could since but they're really not shit. I don't get it. You're looking like a man and you're talking like a baby. How the fuck is your song in a Coke commercial, crazy. But I don't get it. Your taste once exquisite. What happened to Brooklyn? What happened to New York? What happened to my scene? What happened to punk? You called me the queen of the downtown scene baby, How the fuck would you go switch it up and then replace me, I don't get it. I'm so legit. Tell me was it 'cause I wasn't platinum in jewels. And perhaps you thought I was a little bit of an uncool kid? Was that it? Stefani, you suck and now you're selling 20 million, Wish they could've seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg, you're hurt, I know my words don't hurt ya. Old girl, I see you walking round in your pearls, Thinking that you're number one. You're so funny, Cause honey you're not. What happened to Brooklyn? The last frontier. They said you could make it anywhere, if you could make it here. But where? No magic in the air? What happened to Brooklyn? What happened to our scene, baby? Have we all gone Gaga crazy? Remember when the streets used to be dangerous And we were born bad and we were born bad Punk rock. Punk rock. The boys used to punch each other in the face And girls were walking round wasted Everyone had a good night. Come back in sunlight. Punk rock. Rock. Rock.
  11. The piano riff playing through Diet Mountain Dew
  12. Definitely new album material. Should replace JFK with this song.
  13. Not what I expected at all but it's so pretty.
  14. She's such an *sunglasses* Angel Headed Hipster. YEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
  15. This song sounds so heavenly. I think it's a much better 'spiritual piece' than Bel Air anyway. The lyrics remind me of clouds and floating in the sky and being free. Ah.
  16. *Uploads Rick-Astley-Never-Gonna-Give-You-Up.mp3*
  17. You guys, I'm not a Charli fan so I didn't know if the song was rare or whatever
  18. Someone posted 'it' a few weeks ago. The first few words sounded like Lana's voice but it wasn't Lana.
  19. But it's in a poem by an author that she counts as one of her songwriting inspirations! If it's not a song title then
  20. Yeah! 'I sing the body electric' is a lyric too actually, so maybe this latest one is also a lyric. I dunno, it's just a trend that I noticed about her Twitter. But it's definitely interesting to talk about- at least to me anyway!
  21. I wanted to start a new thread about her Twitter description (idk I think my opinions matter; excuse me haha) because I just wanted to talk about what 'American poet. Angel headed hipster' could possibly mean. She had 'I SING THE BODY ELECTRIC' as her Twitter description and that turned out to be a song title (now shortened though). So I thought... what if 'American Poet' and 'Angel Headed Hipster' were song titles too? I don't think she would describe herself as a 'poet' though she's said she was a 'writer' many times. Angel Headed Hipster is from 'Howl' (Big Bad Wolf, anyone?) by Allen Ginsberg and I'm pretty sure Lana's said that Ginsberg, like Whitman, was one of her inspirations. If they were song titles, I would imagine AP would be about poets she admires and AHH would be an ode to Ginsberg. Thoughts?
