I remember i discovered one of my favourite singers here in Lanaboards,Hannah Cohen, thanks to someone pointing out how she sounded a lot like Lana's way of singing + her music is very moody and slow:

NOOOO i just saw the vid on Facebook, poor baby, she must be trying to block it out from her mind but couldn't hold it in I'm glad tho that she was open with the audience, hearing someone yell ''WE LOVE YOU!'' was heartwarming, she's strong so i'm sure she'll get better, she's also looking bomb in that dress, queen <3 -
God Knows I Tried as a whole makes me teary eyed, especially when she sings: God knows I live God knows I died God knows I begged Begged, borrowed and cried God knows I loved God knows I lied God knows I lost God gave me life And God knows I tried For when you feel like everything you've done and achieved was in vain, here she comes with this song that tells you ''you gave your best, you are here because of your own effort, don't be so hard on yourself'' and comes with the rather triumphant: So let there be light Let there be light Light up my life Plus the instrumental just adds so much to the lyrics, the very desert/western elements, like the song that plays when the cowboy is ready to leave by riding into the sunset, symbolizing that feeling of self-realization, i love it.

The fact that Lana is now aware of those creepy posts... i'm so mad, she doesn't deserve all of this i hope she's OK by now

Gosh, leave her alone ffs, this is horrifying, i don't even want to imagine how she must be feeling. Glad someone alerted the police.

A few days ago, i had a Lana marathon that lasted from 12 pm until 4 am and i just re-connected to her lyrics so well after paying dust to her discography for a while, starting with her Lizzy Grant songs up until LFL, and i thought just how amazing her musical evolution has been, the way she evokes gorgeous visuals in your head (idk if it's just me, but her music reminds me a lot of California, especially since i've been there, takes me back, also Hawaii too haha) and overall how soothing her music can be when you're anxious or not feeling good. I've been having random panic attacks, but playing her music washes all of that away, and makes me wanna go outside, wear a skirt with converse, to go and walk around near the beach. Not really a confession, just wanted to get that out.

I thought that was Dave Grohl for a second But yassss queen -
I think Honeymoon is one of her best albums yet because of this big cinematic feel it has, everytime i listen to it, i picture the way the song would look like thanks to the way she describes everything so heavenly and mysterious, it's like an ''audio'' movie for me, the transitions between songs help to that feel, that it's one big epic ''story'', so to speak. Also her vocals are absolutely gorgeous here, i love that she's getting better and better every era. I agree though that while i do like the aesthetic, it's all over the place, here's hoping Freak's video slays, since it's one of my favourite songs from Honeymoon.

Is Lana's fan-to-stalker ratio unusually high?
Velours replied to butcherofblaviken's topic in Lana Thoughts
Basically what the above posts say, she's (un)fortunate enough that she's one of those singers that really connect with people and thus some go into such extremes to try and ''figure'' more out, plus she's SO nice and adorable with her fans, watch any video of her signing autographs and taking photos with them, she's an absolute angel with all of them and usually tries to drive away the annoying paparazzi so she can be in peace with them, no wonder she gathered stalkers, and it's very sad, i hope she doesn't become more reclusive, but also here's hoping she takes care of herself a bit more. -

If she wants to go back to the BTD sound, she better do it in the vein of Paradise, like Body Electric and Ride, or from BTD well, the sound of Million Dollar Man and Lucky Ones would be nice because the crazy bitch describes things as the complete opposite, but please not the atrocity that was the remake of Yayo, she butchered it, the original from AKA is heaven -

Steve Buscemi and David Lynch should produce the album tbh. -
Rihanna / Beyoncé - I'm not a fan of powerhouse vocals, i do like the most popular songs by Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey/etc and i can listen to said artists, but Rihanna&Beyoncé never appealed to me, like, i can't listen to them without hurting my ears or me getting tired after a while, i like The Way You Lie without R's vocals and i find them kinda obnoxious, i don't hate them or anything, just that they never appealed to me and seem a bit overrated in my very very very personal humble opinion. Sky Ferreira - I just like Sad Dream ( ) and Everything Is Embarrasing and was disappointed the rest of the album didn't sounded like that but i think i will give her another chance, i do love her voice a lot. Madonna - I just like some of her older stuff, tha'knows La Isla Bonita, Like a Virgin,etc..., she seems so obnoxious nowadays tbh tidal. Ellie Goulding - Her voice is just boring and average to me, i don't see the appeal and she has such a smug face Azaelia Banks - I'm not that into rap (I just like some of the most populars and even i just like certain songs, ex: Eminem,Dr.Dre and 2Pac) i like her voice, just that her genre doesn't appeal to me to keep me listening for a long time and i like that she seems to care about various social issues but she comes off as annoying with her constant dissing of Iggy, i mean i dislike Iggy to death too but c'mon, let her fade away Az, you're Better Than That I wanna give her another try tho'. 5SOS - Iggy Azalea - :horror: HAIM - I just like If I Could Change Your Mind, i tried to convince myself i liked the rest of the album but i can't believe my own lies, they bore me Florence/Grimes/MGMT/Vampire Weekend - Maybe they need another listen but they are kinda boring like, i don't understand the hype, they're talented yes but, not for me As for TVShows, i don't watch TV anymore, the only TVShow i really like is Twin Peaks, i tried BB and Mad Men, but they're such a bore to me, the same goes for GoT and Orange Is The New Black. For books, i'm very picky about them (and everything else for that matter) but i don't read a lot of books, i don't like stories that much, dunno, i usually just like classic books like A Clockwork Orange or To Kill A Mockingbird, those type of books. Movies, euh, i watch films of certain directors or anything old, i don't go to the cinema because of me being picky af.
