The embodiment of ''Lana del Rey fans when your favorite song is ''Summertime Sadness'' and not an unreleased song called ''Red Rubies in The Sky'' recorded in 2006 with only one VHS copy that Joe Biden has that's locked under the White House security protected by the CIA and can only be found in the dark web using a quantum computer recorded in 144p quality using a vintage radio'' -

A mastermind, releasing YTH when she said yes to Evan On a more serious note, I love this song and I'm excited to see if it does get released officially and in which form. It reminds me a lot of other 60's/70's inspired songs she has sprinkled through her recent lighter and softer work (Tomorrow Never Came, Let the Light In). -
Before Blue Banisters, I would've said an Arctic Monkeys/Alex T. x Lana collab, but it's kinda surreal as a fan of both that they know each other and worked together at some point Maybe it's not that impossible, but a collab with Paul McCartney and Ringo I would explode, Let The Light In is so Beatles-esque, she has to at some point.

Who reigns in that silence When you sleep in the afternoon You reach out to emptiness Until the reaching out feels empty too

I had my eye on this song due to the title being the same as the Wim Wenders film. It reminds me so much of Jane's monologue during that scene in the peepshow cabine, the isolation, disappointments and unfulfilled intimacy.

The Thin Red Line, I'm a anti-war movie girly but aside from having a VERY big star studded cast, beautiful cinematography and some brilliants moments here and there... it was SO slow, I've watched longer movies that never felt like that, but this one did, especially with the constant shifting between the povs of characters. I expected more

!!! Manifesting this is the year I get to see her live in San Diego

I (finally) watched Pride & Prejudice (2005) and I have a new hyperfixation with Jane Austen's work. Saw an edit of the movie with this song and I'm in love

I had no idea what kind of sound to expect after Ocean Blvd... this song is the total opposite of that, even the lyrics kinda mirror the themes in Ocean Blvd's: from yearning and a melancholic look at her past and future, to an acceptance of rebellion and her lifestyle. The best Valentine's gift omg

‘Violets for Roses’ tops BB Hot Trending Songs Chart

All the tweets asking if everybody's ok after xmas lmaoo, this is a beautiful song though and I wouldn't be surprised that it struck a cord with the very sweet, ''the storm is over'' tone.
