I'm on the fence. I think Pierre is a really good song, however I've yet to find a version of it that I like. The live acoustic was too pitchy and her voice was cracking because she was trying to overdo it, and upon first hearing the studio I love it (the guitars are a really good touch) but I hate the way she breaks up the words in the chorus to hit with the beat like OctaHate. The Coachella performance of it is probably the closest I'm going to get to what I want to hear.

Her Gov Ball performance was good. I dipped out early to see MØ but she at least sounded good and I Love It really got the crowd going (I missed Fancy and Boom Clap)

Not just that but she's not wearing like any eye makeup so it makes her eyes look even more rough than usual. I mean I have no doubt in my mind that she's done hard drugs but I don't think she looks bad. As for Guardian, i guess this means we might get it in like spring of 2016 given her track history?

Another reason I wash her fans would stop pretending the Sucker era was a genuine, organic process that Charli was full behind. They praise and era that she hates and makes her miserable (she looks miserable in every interview I've seen in the past 6 months) and then she feels like she's disappointing her fans for wanting to stop doing something she hates.

After listening through the album, I can still say that its her worst effort yet. The record felt like it was trying to be a Fleetwood Mac tribute rather than a Florence album. All the tracks kind of blurred together for me as nothing really set any of them apart. I couldn't get over how underwhelming the whole thing felt. As soon as I would catch a little bit of a build that I expected to turn into the signature Florence belting lyrics over crazy powerful instrumentals, it just didn't happen. The album was just very boring for me and nothing really stood out like most of the tracks on Lungs and Ceremonials did.

It's been well over a year and every track on NMTF still goes hard as hell

Not to my knowledge. You could probably rip them in 320kbps from the youtube videos but no word on if they would actually be 320kbps

I like her and I pre-ordered her album and I'm sure thats good, but this is honestly one of the worst things I've heard in months

Then from there I'm missing Leaked: R.I.P. (Fresh to Death) [Her and her friends drop the n-bomb in the chorus so I don't keep it in my library #problematic] Unleaked: Volcano (prod. Cory Enemy) Judgement Day (Studio) Alpha (Studio) Danger (Unconfirmed title) [studio] Sit Tight (Unconfirmed title) [studio] Confirmed titles for debut album: Renegade (video directed by SSION)

I would but I'm too lazy

Does anyone have the uncompressed MXTP files that she had up for awhile? I managed to nab them, but I compressed them myself (idk what I was thinking) and accidentally deleted the originals? I remember only three of them were uncompressed (i don't remember which three) but does anyone on here have them?

Right?!?!?! Like she literally had psychotic breakdowns in studios working on this album............Like I'm so tired of reading this person write paragraphs about how I'm missing the point because I'm not deluded enough to take everything she and her label says at face value. Fans are entitled to like Sucker, but you have to take into account what her label did and at least admit that the era was not the authentic process it was made out to be. I like Charli a lot and I supported her by buying Sucker but as a fan I can't in good conscious act like this album is something that she wanted or was good for her. I'm excited to see her work with PC Music because I think its another step in the right direction of Charli regaining control over her music, rather than staying stagnant in the world of top 40 pop cranking out album after album, song after song trying to get a hit for her label. I know thats not what Charli wants and dwelling on that is just hurting her in the long run, which is why I'm excited to see the Sucker era on its way out.

Sorry, misinterpreted what you were asking

I bought it awhile ago. Then i guess a week after I bought it, this showed up, which I just noticed

You do realize what she says in press interviews isn't always the truth? Like it would be bad press (much like Marina got if you want to bring up EH) if she would've said "oh my label forced me" plus it would strain the relationship between her and the label, possibly halting the progress of new music. You're also ignoring the tone and body language of every interview she's mentioned how Sucker is the album she's always wanted to make (you can literally see her rolling her eyes). Granted some of the tracks like Hanging Around, Gold Coins, Breaking Up, and London Queen were from the punk album so she probably doesn't regret every track on the album, but I very sure she regrets the album as a whole or is at least annoyed with how little creative control she ended up having. Hell she might like every track on the album, but I don't think she liked the way the album and era were turned into a commercial pop album (exactly what the song Sucker was criticizing). Also she moved on from the album almost immediately following the release. Sure she did that with TR, but most of those songs we're 2 years old by the time that album came out, the tracks from Sucker we're a year old at most (and those are only the punk album songs).

Wait.......................do you people actually believe that Sucker was an organic process brought on and controlled entirely by Charli herself? Thats like................................just obviously not true lmao You're very wrong on that one. Charli chooses the music she makes, but her label chooses the music we get to hear, especially now more than ever being that she actually has somewhat of a "brand" that her label has built and needs to maintain.

I refuse to buy CD's, its like pointless, especially if there's a vinyl edition available. Its just like wasted space on my shelf

Send what? The box set I cancelled?

Wasn't that Meditation Song not Lovesick?

I feel awful. I am a huge Florence fan and I was so excited for this new album but I haven't really liked anything off the album. What Kind of Man was nice but it just didn't grab me like any of her other music did, and the rest of the album so far has felt very forgettable to me . I cancelled my pre-order of the box-set and I don't even know if I'll end up buying the regular vinyl. Its such a shame but my friends and I have been joking calling the album "How Big, How Beautiful, How Boring" because none of us can get into it.
-
So did I but apparently there were batches that weren't (seem to be in the UK or Europe only). It's also possible that he bough the 7" separately and put them in the empty presentation box which was also available for sale in the UK and then signed that (hence why its not in the shrink)

PLEASE @ HIM FAKING THE SIGNATURE ON A FROOT BOXSET HIS A real one

PC Music is nothing like the TR era music though. Like they literally don't sound alike at all. What would your definition of further be? As much as people would like to think, top 40 pop isn't Charli's strong suit, she can write a nice hook, but as evidenced by the Sucker era it doesn't seem to work out for her. I'd rather her continue to make the music she actually enjoys making rather than whatever Sucker was. Also it's not that Sucker wasn't cool enough, its that it was a messy, rushed, half-assed effort brought on by her label.

I'm kinda mad that we have to wait until October (4 months) to get the whole thing at once when it sounds like she already finished it a long time ago. I'm also mad that she's doing a surprise release of it all at once because that means I'm going to have to wait another 2+ months for the vinyl edition
