Yeah for sure email them, their customer service will send you a return label and will ship you another, I've exchanged bad records with them plenty times before, UO's customer service is surprisingly extremely pleasant to deal with
-
We'll have fun dealing with Sub Pop, their customer service was super shitty to me when they sent me out those warped deluxe versions of ILYHB and then took months to send replacements to everyone.

She said that awhile ago when she canceled her tour. I read a coachella interview talking about how she got into transcendental meditation and how re-invigorated she was. She also talked about how now that she got her "three albums out of the way that she wanted to make" she's been exploring all new styles of music and as already stated working on stuff
-
Please........dont get me stated, she got a pass on the 3 year wait for I Never Learn because the album was so fucking good but I swear to god if she tries to pull that shit again
-
Lets talk about this. Why aren't we freaking out about this? https://instagram.com/p/3ANSLTL8rO/?taken-by=lykkeli https://instagram.com/p/3ANWs4r8rW/?taken-by=lykkeli https://instagram.com/p/3ANg6NL8rl/?taken-by=lykkeli

In the meantime take a knife (or a box cutter) and spin it around in the hole, it will scrape off enough to get it on, I've had to do this several times with records, and it works fine
-
I never said it was...........I said he might release it as a pre-album treat..............
-
Its technically with Major Lazer again and he's been dropping songs off that album like every week (it comes out June 2nd) so maybe we'll get it on monday or tuesday as a pre-album treat?

Like.........this is more dream-pop, punk tinged than what NTMT was. If anything My Dreams Dictate My Reality was what Sky was trying to do with NTMT but couldn't do completely (i.e. pop tracks like I Blame Myself, Love in Stereo, 24 Hours, & You're Not the One).
-
I guess she like copied Sky's look but the music really sounds like........nothing alike
-
His brother was a co-writer/producer on You (Ha Ha Ha), and she said Diamonds was old and was written on her first trip to Sweden so its entirely possible that they we're in the same room together since she clearly worked with his brother on You (Ha Ha Ha). Klaus has worked with literally everyone from Madonna, to Ke$ha, to Tove Lo, to Katy Perry, to Usher, so I'm sure thats where the connection is.

My avi pic actually is an album cover! Check out "Night Drive" by Chromatics, they make some cool indie/pop/electronic/rock hybrid music (lead singer's voice isn't everyone's cup of tea) EDIT: SORRY! IM AN IDIOT AND I CANT READ
-
It sounds really good!!!!!!!
-
There was just a scratch an sniff sticker on the jacket, the records/jackets themselves weren't scented. I'm pretty sure anything beyond that would leave the record open to damage compromising the sound
-
I'm not seeing SuperLove get enough (super)love on this thread and frankly it's very upsetting
-
I have, I own them..........They sound nice but they could sound a lot better, and honestly, the black 180g does sound better. Less surface noise, crisper audio, better highs and lows. As someone who owns hundreds of records and has dumped thousands into audio equipment, I can confidently say that the picture disc (while it does sound better than a lot of picture discs I own) doesn't sound as good as the black 180g pressing. Also I don't know what you're listening on but 99% of the time your record should always sound better than the mp3, unless you're destroying listening to your records on a crosley.
-
Agreed. I really like what she did with the Ultraviolence box set. I would even be happy if she did them on a super heavy ( >180g) marbled vinyl, as picture discs don't have the best sound quality. A lyric book and box set vinyl exclusive track would be enough to secure my buy.

1. SuperLove 2. Stay Away 3. Nuclear Seasons 4. Set Me Free 5. Cold Nites (mostly because I love HTDW so the combo was perfect)
-
I love Shine its so cute I've been listening to it all week. I'm so excited for this album I've loved every track off of it!
-
Its in Hanging Around because she did it with Rivers Cuomo from Weezer which is probably the most well known pop-punk act around
-
You forgot an "o", I was talking about this account https://twitter.com/broookecandy
-
It's not. It might have the "attitude" that she's been claiming makes her music punk but it really isn't punk at all. The attitude might be a reflection of punk inspiration, but the album itself is a pop album, its not a pop-punk album. And I wouldn't say its a modernized version of punk either, its a pop album with watered down and commercialized punk influences. Again attitude ≠ punk, its just an aspect that people get confused. There's a lot of modernized punk floating around, none of it would be anything close to what Charli did with Sucker.
-
Its clearly a typo.............like why would they even bother pressing 8 tracks of an album that'd just be a waste of money..............
-
Ok but........when are we getting Do Me in full?
-
Being as the genre "pop-punk" is typically garbage thats not really saying much. And honestly there is very little "punk" on the album. Like the only real "pop-punk" tracks are like Hanging Around and Breaking Up, the rest of it is like the equivalent to P!nk calling the records she makes with Dr. Luke "punk". Its pop with some more guitars and aggressive drums. Body of My Own has a "punk" approach but isn't a punk or pop-punk song
