Not really........like if they're coming out in September they probably haven't even received them from the pressing plant. They might be waiting until they have confirmation that they're actually done before they announce them/put them up. Especially after the FROOT boxset got delayed so long..........

US stores are still having trouble putting up the Ellie Goulding Lights re-issue. Mostly because it wasn't hyped at all and its only being sold as an import from the UK/Europe so they have to go through distributors. It's likely US records stores won't have it up until a week before/after the pressing is actually available.

Didn't she say the song was from the punk album tho?

I listened to Teen Dream a really long time ago (before hearing Bloom) and I wasn't really a fan. It's on my list to get to but right now I'm currently in love with Bloom so I'm having trouble deterring from it to get around to listening to all the new stuff that has leaked (Depression Cherry, new Mac Demarco album, & the new Tame Impala album)

I agree and I'm not saying I ever could. I just feel like it adds that ugly element into the mix. Maybe because a lot of artists before didn't grow up with social media so they never really thought to use it like that (a lot also just have publicists run their twitter) but something about it just seems to take away from the music for me

Bloom is really their only album that I like. How does the new album compare to it (I heard it leaked but I've been too busy to listen)? I didn't really enjoy Sparks but if you guys are saying its the oddball on the album do you think I'll enjoy it?

Unrelated to your icon but I feel this way about Ryn Weaver and it like completely turned me off to her. I don't follow Halsey on twitter and its probably best if I don't if she tweets the way you're describing. It's such a huge turnoff when artists don't allow their music to speak for itself and get caught up in Twitter.

Amazing film. Wasn't really that excited for the release but I definitely left the theater with tears in my eyes.

Do I like Halsey's music? Yes. Do I think she's completely manufactured (possibly not even to her knowledge) to market to teenagers who shop at urban outfitters and want to listen to "indie" music? Absolutely.

Saw the film last night. It was fantastic and really well done. Gut wrenchingly sad but really gave a great insight into what was really going on in her life that the media often overlooked while calling her a junkie
