so I actually revisited Witness this week and it was a lot better than I remembered. I think thank lyrically its more cohesive than Smile but Smile wasnt that bad

I mean shes always said she considered N1A and Pop 2 to be albums and that she considered the line between mixtape and album to be pretty non-existent, but it just bothers me that they're differentiated because to me they very much occupy the same space.

Idk why its bothers me so much that N1A and Pop 2 are mixtapes but HIFN is an album but it does.

The fact that she went from major label to independent and the quality stayed consistent (if not improved).......Her talent/work ethic + Roc Nation's management has proved to be stronger than major label backing, which is huge

I'm usually a hater but I'd give the album a 7/10. Fun Tonight, Sour Candy, and Plastic Doll were the only major duds for me. I thought Rain On Me final seemed like they went overboard making the production less dance and more pop radio friendly which I didn't like but the song isn't bad.

What about her exactly makes her an industry plant? Pretty Girl went viral before labels even looked at her or considered her family members?

You guys do realize this "soundtrack song" is for a series from the Bob's Burgers creators right? They write really dumb songs for the show that pertain to an episode and it looks like now theyre having other artists sing them. It's not going to be like a serious song, they're meant to be a joke.
