I generally don't love the flow of most Lana albums upon relistens. A lot of her albums have upbeat, easier to listen to songs (usually the singles) at the beginning and slow down in the middle/end of the album. Don’t get me wrong - the songs at the middle/end are great and typically some of the best of the album, but she groups them all together so it can get a bit tedious having to listen to them consecutively. The only albums that really catch my attention the entire time are Born to Die and Lust for Life.

I remember when it first leaked the very first track I listened to was Black Beauty it was literally my last day of school as a high school freshman, this album touched me so much. I hated high school lol but looking back at the time when this album came out makes me really nostalgic for those simpler times

The iconic “buy her tonight, she’s still shining” misheard lyric in Carmen it would’ve been such an amazing line

after listening to it in hq I enjoy it a lot more, I think my ranking is now <3 Pop 2 HIFN True Romance = BRAT everything else she popped off I fear

Im thinking a shortened opening with A&W and the closer being a reprise with the classic Jimmy Jimmy part would’ve been great, but would never happen because her and her team are dedicated to making the most mid set lists of her career
