    touring is a funny word.
One could do 20 shows and not consider it a tour these days (or one could do like Kate Bush and play one place for 3 months and nowhere else, after 40 years of zero concerts).

Just one-offs at festivals followed by a bonus show in a nearby town and it is not considered a structured tour

However, her words were not necessarily referring to not touring-
they implied "Honeymoon" tour. Now, her last tour wasn't an ultraviolence tour it was "the endless summer" tour.

being that Lana most likely would only play 3 to 4 songs from Honeymoon interspersed with her greatest hits and not play the album 1 to 14.

I think in January and Feb. they will start to announce the lineups for the mega-fests of 2016

Literally she can make a video of herself twerking to a 15 second remix of Burnt Norton and it'll salvage this era

I really hope Lana decides to tour. Even though she said she wasn't going to tour. Sometimes Lana says shit she doesn't mean a lot

I would change the Honeymoon album cover. Its messy and just weird. Also I would take away half of the songs and put some unreleased songs on there like TV In Black and White for example. Not one song on Honeymoon fits the title or anything to do with a typical honeymoon. When I think of a Honeymoon I think paradise, happiness, and love. Lana's version of "honeymoon" makes zero sense. The title of the album doesn't have a theme with the overall sound of the record at all

I agree 100% Chuck is not a good photographer for shit! I don't even know how they even thought the Honeymoon cover looked good at all. Its a mess, plain and simple. The tour bus was unnecessary and odd to include in on an album cover. Yea it had the hotline number but the hotline isn't anything special considering Lana has forgotten it exists.

I personally feel that Ultraviolence sold because of the music. West Coast is one of Lana's best songs of all time, and that includes her unreleased.
I guess you could say that Born to Die helped in the way that it got her name out to the GP, but I really think a lot of people liked the change that Ultraviolence brought, and it opened her up to different audiences.
Honeymoon lacks energy & longevity. When I first got into Lana I had BTD on repeat for MONTHS, the same goes for UV when it released. When HM came out I was playing different artists hours later (opposed to weeks like the previous albums)

Honeymoon was underwhelming, and to even some, incredibly boring. The lyrics weren't fantastic and it was sooo slow.
High By the Beach was only okay, but again, not the best. Terrence Loves You was incredibly beautiful, but again, slow.
A decent chunk of the songs on HM sound similar, and she sounds bored throughout the whole album. It's an amazing album though, but I'm already bored with it tbh

Relax everyone, Vertigo has a right to voice his opinions too, even if they are a little harsh at times.
he/she was (maybe still is), a passionate fan of Lana's music and has been severely dissapointed.
Its not that serious y'all. Looks like the same for all of you as well.

Like @@evilentity our great moderator here mentioned a while back, this is not a blind love thread/forum,
its for both positive and negative opinions within reason.

Lana looks so pretty in some of the pictures. The others look sort of odd. She's starting to get that Kim Kardashian frozen face look

okay her face looks pretty warped in the inside spread. these had potential to be great but are lacking

A.K.A and BTD are perfect imo.

However I wish UV had the full tracklist. Hopefully one day UV will be re-released as an anniversary edition (Along with the demos and the original version of UV of course-let me dream   ) that includes ITH/Flipside.

HM is the album I would change the most.So I'm going to list them -

    1. The messy album artwork and visuals. I've grown use to it now but I still hate it so bloody much and its a shame that the original photo-shoot with Neil Krug wasn't used (Hopefully we will see most of it in the photo book that's in the HM boxset). The good sis Chuck can not take a good photo for shit tbh She has her odd moments of glory here and there but still the album cover is a prime example that you shouldn't involve your family in your work

2.HBTB should not of been the lead single at all - it shouldn't of been on the album . It should've of been either MTWBT,Freak or even Art Deco.

    3. I feel that even the promo singles were off too  with the exception of TLY. TBD, Salvatore and along with TLY would've been perfect and promoted the feel/sound of the album much better than the ones that were officially chosen.

    4. The version of HM that was played when when Lana preformed at Maida Vale should've been the version that was on HM.

I don't want to admit the era is over

During Honeymoon's leak and release I felt completely in love with it and kept listening to it on repeat. But now after days have gone by I feel like it's going to be an album I place on the shelf and only listen to when I'm reminded about it. Sure, it's Lana's most mature work so far but for me UV is still her best. Honeymoon is beautiful and less autobiographical but I feel like it's missing those monotone Lana cliches that I love (you have to admit she is very monotone lol). IDK this album is missing her Lana razzle-dazzle. It's slightly boring compared to the rest of her work but it's definitely a stride in the right direction. Still a very impactful album but certainly not her best. I guess I have to go back to listening to Sirens, UV, and her unreleased
  23. delreyfreak liked a post in a topic by Starsx in Epitomizing each of Lana's Eras
Born To Die:  Vintage sex kitten with a touch of Hollywood nostalgia mixed with daddy issues

Paradise: The end of Hollywood. Bruce Springsteen. Classic Americana. Seaside glamour. Dreams became reality

Ultraviolence: 90s grunge. The beginning of the NyQuil phase in her music. Musical sedative.

Honeymoon: Slightly less sedative. A cliche of all her previous work

the flower crown epitomizes the visual of the beginning of Lana Del Rey. You can't talk Lana without mentioning flower crowns

It makes me happy that Lana was shading Francesco. It seems like she doesn't think that they will be together for much longer since she makes it seem as though he wouldn't be father material.
She probably already has another guy on the side
