Am I the only one who thinks that the album is 14 tracks altogether? As much as I'd love to get a lot of new songs, I really want a standard-only record. (Plus, deluxe BTD and UV were not available in my country and I don't want that repeated with HM  )

Yes agree, but at the same time, sometimes artists reinvent themselves into oblivion. I think its good to do new things and change out a little, as long as the core greatness of what 'was' really great is still there. Its great to see artists mature in their music, like for example I never heard any songs in my life from selena g, but heard "Good for you", and totally blew me away.. could have sounded incredible if Lana did that song. But people say she changed her style completely for that song..
i think it is killing it as far as commercially right now. its huge and beautifully done.
Lana BTD era was huge, but the UV was good to, if she can still create sounds and songs like thos albums, with some newer influences,, that would be great i think, and alot of people would like it, but if she changed out drastically to something completely different from 'everything' she has done before, may not go over well with anyone.
so thats a bit worrying.. however, no one can deny, that her voice and depth is beautiful. absolutely incredible.

You are right, but the difference was that people expected UV to sound like it did (I think?) while FROOT was like bam, have some 70's funk pop.

Radio is LDR's feminist anthem. All you have to do is interpret the "I" and "you" in "I've finally found you" as Lizzy Grant finally finding Lana Del Rey. I've seen that interpretation proposed in youtube comments, and think the lyrics support it.

Yeah. They could function if she was younger, to give her that cute, popsicle Lolita look, but she definitely radiates most powerfully as a sultry vamp with Veronica Lake locks flipped on one side. Tousled, windy, rock look of UV is also delicious, but I cultivate nostalgia for that long, lush, seductive waves reminiscent of Hollywood glamour, even when combined with ferrari jackets and massive golden hip hop chains. And bangs cover her monumental forehead, which adds to the beauty of her long, melancholic, sensual oval face - now it is somehow deformed, and all accent goes to the nose, lips, cheeks and chin, at least two of them been reconstructed and plastic.

I hope it's sooner but I think it will be mid-August then the album mid-September.
MTWBT better have the same impact as West Coast/Ride then I'll be happy lol

When you all put those (god, I absolutely don't know how to translate sigla or acronimo, if someone knows italian will get it), I mean, when you write SK instead of Serial Killer I swear sometimes I have to think about it a lot, then I understand and I feel stupid

Thanks again for being so nice, everyone!! I'm planning on doing some watercolor Lana stuff soon, which should be interesting if nothing else.
 
I found an older drawing to throw in here while I work on new stuff!! There are things about it that I'm not super happy with, but it was super fun to make. Colored pencils are the best.

Well, IF this album comes out in Septemeber it is 8 weeks away (the most). And we still don't even have a single or the name of the lead single. Or the release date of the single. She got tired of the HM account already. 
These are actually not very good signs, just sayin

They are called "acronyms" in English, but I agree, I hate them too, and I never use them unless it's like an 8 word song title or something
