  1. completely agree w this an official collab even remix with rocky is long overdue! can't wait
  2. My favourites are God Knows I Tried, Art Deco, Swan Song, Salvatore and Freak.
  3. Just finished listening to the album in its entirety and I think God Knows I Tried is the standout song, a true masterpiece and already one of my favourite Lana songs ever. I can't express how much I love this song - I have goosebumps every single time I listen to it. My second favourite song is still Salvatore, though I love the dovetailed Freak and Art Deco (although when I heard Freak in full after obsessing over the snippet it was not what I was expecting at all). Love the Billie line in The Blackest Day. I know Honeymoon and Terrence Loves You aren't that popular but I think they are two of the best songs on the album. I think 24 is the worst song on the album, I have listened to it a few times now and I can barely get through it. I don't know what it is about it that I don't like but I feel like the album would be better without it. I agree with those who have said Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood is disappointing, I was so looking forward to this but it seems somehow hollow. I don't think the problem is Lana sounding emotionless, because I think she sounds rather emotionless on Music to Watch Boys To and yet I still really enjoy that song. Initially on Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood what was most jarring to me was the fact that the whole vibe seems skewed (odd consisting it's a jazz song and Lana aspires to that sound so much). Of course, perhaps I am comparing it to the original too much but with The Other Woman I loved the original and still thought Lana's rendition was beautiful. For me the worst final song of all of Lana's albums. I prefer the first half of the album with the exception of Salvatore.
  4. Listening to it in order I'm kind of surprised Lana followed God Knows I Tried with High By The Beach.
  5. Anyone else from the UK counting down the last 10 minutes?
  6. I thought she was singing 'Light of my life' and now I can't hear it as 'Light up my life'
  7. I honestly can't get over God Knows I Tried, her voice at the end is like nothing I've ever heard.
  8. Have you seen this one? This is what I'm going to use, credit to Eclipse
  9. I had a dream that Honeymoon arrived in the post and it had like 6 bonus songs on that we didn't know about lmao....you can imagine how I felt when I woke up.
  10. Who was it who said Salvatore reminds them of Once Upon a December because I totally see it, especially at the end.
  11. Thank you so much aleko, listening to The Blackest Day "All I hear is Billie Holiday"
  12. I know I just really want to hear Art Deco after reading the lyrics lmao
  13. The ending of God Knows I Tried is so seraphic I feel like crying
  14. I agree but since the song has never even surfaced in full I doubt she would've mentioned it to Huw.
  15. The point I was making is I don't think she deliberately omitted Life is Beautiful as it's not like she spoke about all of her film songs (or her most famous), only two.
  16. He just asked her about soundtracks so maybe she spoke about her favourites - Maleficent is not recent and yet she spoke about that first. I'm sure you could say Once Upon a Dream is "no longer relevant".
  17. I feel you honey but I don't think hers is a 'Live Lounge' performance as such? Literally the Radio 1 competitions are so easy too, it's just like 'What song is this lyric from?' I'm waiting but I listened to it because it's obviously high quality being from the radio (plus I had literally just gotten in the car and thought I was in a dream hearing a new Lana song lmao)
  18. I thought it was so strange when he worded the question like "Have you done any soundtracks?" like wtf?
  19. I swear there is an audience for some Radio 1 performances? Not long ago they were airing competitions to win tickets to see Live Lounge performances.
