I wasn't really a huge fan of hers but she seemed very genuine and talented. Let's keep this thread alive.

What musical direction should Lana go in for LDR5?
Solar Fields replied to ilovetati's topic in Lana Thoughts
I also had a dream the other night where I got to see Lana perform some "new music" at a small concert with only a few other people. For some reason, it was really loud death metal and another of the songs had her rapping in it Hopefully my dream won't be the reality -
If I had to rate the albums... Debut: 7/10 Post: 7/10 Homogenic: 10/10 Vespertine: 9.5/10 Medulla: 10/10 Volta: 8.5/10 Biophilia: 8/10 Vulnicura: 9/10 Even my least favorites (Debut and Post) are really interesting and fun to listen to. Her discography is truly special.

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

Y'all are my new favorites @ @ -
It's definitely reminiscent of Kill V Maim. I saw someone describe it as "dream-pop trap-metal" which is the best description I've seen so far. Personally I think it's not quite as good as Art Angels but considering it's a soundtrack song it's amazing.

I can't believe I listened to Beats1 for almost an hour and ended up missing it anyways but I'm listening for the first time now. OMFG THIS IS SO AMAZING. I LOVE HOW DARK AND INTENSE IT SOUNDS

We get it, almost everyone here thinks Honeymoon is the worst or whatever. Can we move on from the same tired statement now? -
Ugh of course she does this the one month I don't have a subscription

I wish she would do Art Deco or MTWBT instead of Carmen for the 800th time -
You can watch the first five episodes of the fourth season on the Freeform app (that's all that has aired of season 4 at the moment).

The Fosters [TV Show] Stef, a dedicated police officer, is in a relationship with Lena. The two have built a close-knit family with Stef's biological son, Brandon, and adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. When Lena meets Callie -- hardened from being in and out of foster homes -- the couple welcome her into their home, thinking it is temporary. [from Wikipedia.] It first aired in 2013 and is currently in its fourth season on the Freeform network. I'm in love with this show! Does anyone else here like it? Edit: I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place but I wasn't sure exactly where to start the thread

I'm only going to "review" the albums I've listened to at least three times because I don't think it's fair to criticize an album I don't really know. Post is a really good album and sometimes I like to listen to it on an endless shuffle because almost all the songs are really good. The only ones that don't stand out in my mind are You've Been Flirting Again and Headphones. Homogenic is just as good as Post in my opinion. All the songs are at least decent, but my least favorites are 5 Years and Pluto. (I'm just now listening to Vespertine in the correct order for the second or third time but I'm loving it so far and will probably share my thoughts soon.) Volta is a great album to me personally. I like how it's a little bit chaotic. My least favorites are Pneumonia and Hope. I remember liking them but I can't recall anything about them at all. Last, but not least, the only other album I've listened to multiple times is Vulnicura. It's definitely in my top tier of Björk albums. When I first listened to it, I was bored out of my mind but after more listens, I love it. I like the focus on emotions (and also the music videos have been really awesome). My least favorites are Notget and Mouth Mantra. Once again I remember very little about those two songs and I've listened to them at least a handful of times. I'll be sure to write about Debut, Vespertine, Medulla, and Biophilia once I'm more familiar with them.
