Thank you so much. After listening to her some more, I'm in love now, but I appreciate your help.

I've been listening to her more and more and I'm officially obsessed. I found a used copy of Vespertine for $5 and I bought a couple other albums on iTunes. I love her so much now.

I'm so excited for this song! I'm thinking it will sound like Kill V. Maim and Pin.
-
I've only heard one or two of her albums but I do love what I've heard and I'll be sure to listen to the new album!

2016 is like an alternate reality..... I have no words
-
Ohmygod I doubt it's real but if it is I will cry so hard
-
Present Tense and Identikit are the ones I listen to the most but I think AMSP is one of their best albums overall.
-
I hope we get this album in the next few months. Do you think the album art will have one very striking color like LP1 or do you think she'll change it up and have lots of varying colors?

Lucy Rose Parton, known as Lucy Rose is an English singer-songwriter from Warwickshire, England. Her debut album, Like I Used To was released in September 2012. Lucy Rose released her second album Work It Out on 6 July 2015 on Columbia Records. [from Wikipedia] Edit: I first found her from her work with the Bombay Bicycle Club, [https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W5LG1ZMIu6M] but her solo work is just as good if not better. I'm obsessed with her second album Work It Out and her first album is really good as well. Her most popular songs (and a few of my favorites) are linked below. "Like An Arrow" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8zU0sR1YNSY "Shiver" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1o84y-5-cO0 "Lines" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a4EWd1XyG4g "Shelter" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XV4nUfZnzIs "Sheffield" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q5Fb1UIritY And support her by buying her music on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/lucy-rose/id451448445

the hate for Honeymoon is unreal -
I can't seem to get into her music and I don't know why. Whenever I listen to the longer songs, I tend to drift off after the first couple minutes. I listened to Post and loved it but the last few songs all blended together for me. I listened to Homogenic as well and loved the first half but then got bored. I listened to a little bit of Volta and found it more interesting than the other two but still not extremely gripping. Now I'm attempting to listen to Vulnicura... So far the only songs I can really get into are "All is Full of Love", "Its Oh So Quiet", "Hyperballad", "The Dull Flame of Desire", "Declare Indendence", "Lionsong", and "Play Dead".

[edit: why did I feel the need to share this irrelevant opinion ]
-
I've only heard a couple of her songs as of right now but I'm about to start by listening to Homogenic! Wish me luck
-
how can y'all say any song on honeymoon is overrated when I've only seen hate for it
-
a few years ago but I don't remember when exactly when was the last time you went to a party?
-
Freak was one of my favorite songs on Honeymoon but ever since I saw the tragedy of the Freak mv I can't enjoy the song the same way
-
I only listened to the album a couple times but I definitely agree that Heartthrob was a stronger album (at least in my opinion). As far as lyrics, I definitely prefer their older albums, but the lyrics aren't terrible or anything.

This is exactly how I feel
