I love this, and you explained the song perfectly on how I look at the song from Lana's point of view.
 
tbh this is one of my favorite tracks of the album just because I can personally relate to them. "we both know it's not fashionable to love me." - I've never had a bf before my fiance and was confused at first why he liked me. everyone warned me of his violent past and his past drug addiction so the references to violence in the song remind me how I felt at the beginning of my relationship, that I wasn't scared, that it was love, and the only thing i was scared of was him realizing I wasn't that great of a person..but we see how that turned out.
 
but enough about me, i could go on for days about how Lana's lyrics relate to my life....and this is why I love Lana's music so much.

ok really regretful this project never materialized, either into a photobook or an album concept 

I couldn’t hold these to myself for much longer. Felt the need to share.. I really love the the fuzziness effect (If you can’t tell) Just found out how to work it I guess. Anyways I made these for the best album ever.. These are how I Pictured the songs to look based off the UV era and snippets! Hopefully we are able to heat the full tracks one day.. I know this feeling EXACTLY! I didn't think anyone else got this feeling from certain songs. Aside from the ones you mentioned, I'd add Put Me in a Movie (the demo especially), Hangin' Around, and the 1949 demo a little bit, too 

Don’t know if this is exactly thread worthy and how much discussion it can really spur, but i thought it was worth sharing. Maybe we can just use this thread to collect the more interesting (positive!) opinions on Lana from non-celebrities from unlikely places? God, that’s a mouthful (i kind of feel like LDR crusader Love Lana Like Life right now). 
 
Anyway, i’m always interested in seeing how things that i’m really into are evaluated by those from other corners of the universe. I just think it’s fascinating to get the perspective of people who aren’t so on the inside like us obsessed freaks. I think it’s easy sometimes to forget about the more "casual" listener’s views. The subject of Lana in particular is of interest to me in this context because it still puzzles me how she seems to have totally eluded a less pop-culture-oriented audience. So when i see someone who's coming from another part of the music world and they “get” it, the geek in me gets excited. 
 
Anyway, the point to all of this is that i was on the Beach Boys messageboard when, to my delight, i see the name Lana Del Rey suddenly pop up. What was interesting to me was to see BTD’s production described in a way i’ve never heard before. I'll use spoilers because this is getting long. 
 
 
 

I don't know, but Disco, Axl Rose Husband, and Afraid are some of my favorite songs, but these give me a weird feeling. it's almost like fear? Or an intense feel of sadness, I know even tho a lot of her songs give this sad vibe, these ones are different for me for some reason. I love hearing them but there's something about those songs that give me chills. What about you?

So I finally decided to start my own Fan Art thread I'll be posting all sort of edits, that I've already made or I'm planning to do.

I wanted to start with a video I've been working on and finally finished. I think it turned out pretty cool. UV outtakes are amazing and deserve a video  So... I made it in style of the UV (Album trailer).
(I'll be posting the audio edit I made for the video later today, in case someone wants it)
