I’ve had a lot of thoughts about this. At the end of the day I think the Greyhound is a symbol for Pang and thus the dogs running through the doors at the end of the video symbolize the pang feeling going through the door. This completely changed the way I interpret the song too, as I always believed she was singing about another person. But I think the “other person” in Door’s case is a third thing. The you in which opens the door is the latter. But what’s running through is the pang and the to you it’s running to is first person Caroline. DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE? Idk how to explain it sorry sis I sound crazy

 ok umm this is still processing in my mind but I think u mean it's sorta like the title track with the greyhounds representing the pang feeling by let through the door by whatever event is causing said pang feeling to then reach Caroline?  and so door is sorta kinda the personification of the Pang feeling?  I mean I was just kinda talking about how there's no doors attached to the doorframe and like isn't a doorframe with no door just an archway? but im so down for some literary analysis she's such an underrated writer me thinks  people r too busy talking about everything else great about her music
