That Venice Bitch 28,171 Posted January 11, 2022 2021 was a really decent year for film and even though I am still making my way through a lot of the films that released late in the year, there are a few I absolutely adored and loved and truly resonated with. I'm just making this topic for anybody to talk about films released in 2021 and which ones you loved/hated/etc. I'll share some of my own but I'm curious what you thought of 2021 in film especially compared to 2020 and what you expect from 2022~~~~~ Some of my favorite films of 2021 (in no order) include: The Killing of Two Lovers // Minari // Nomadland The Father // Quo Vadis, Aida? // Wolfwalkers Summer of Soul // Judas and the Black Messiah Annette // Titane // Pig // The Green Knight Spencer // The Lost Daughter // Lamb Any films y'all liked in particular ? 6 Quote .・゜゜・ ⋆·˚ ༘ * GIVE PEACE A CHANCE ˚ ༘ ⋆。˚ ・゜゜・. Gravitate 3,921 Posted January 11, 2022 Gonna have to watch these! Haven't seen any but am always looking for new good movies to watch One movie I really liked this year was actually...Spiderman. I was never a fan of Spiderman or anything superhero but I went to watch the movie with my friend who is a big fan and surprisingly...loved it??? I now kind of want to catch up on what I've missed in the Marvel universe. I never tried getting into it because I never thought I'd be the type, but maybe I was wrong.

rightofjupiter 16,634 Posted January 11, 2022 Loved The Power of the Dog and The Lost Daughter; didn’t really like Titane. Liked Nomadland & The Green Knight but didn’t love. Pig was meh for me though also less stupid than I thought it’d be (and really sad). French Dispatch also meh for me. I know a lot of people hated Don’t Look Up but I enjoyed. Passing is prob my fav of the year, incredible adaptation of a terrific novel. Still want to see Lamb, Dig, Last Night In Soho, Licorice Pizza & Cruella.
