I really want the team behind these remasters to make a “level editor like remastered thing” so they can build a new old Tomb Raider game. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross could do the score, 

“that also means it’s faithful to the original’s gameplay with little dialogue so you feel as if you’re the one exploring & not playing a bunch of set pieces stitched together”

AOD is my absolute favorite TR game and i'm so excited for what this remaster is gonna bring, with them readding in a lot of the cut content
I know it's still not gonna be the fully fleshed out storyline of course, but it's gonna be so good, I can feel it

Played Rome from Chronicles today. So pretty, and the new load screens ❤️

 

From what i have seen Revelation looks the best of the bunch, the graphics and atmosphere are beautiful. 
 

The Lara model this time around is extra cunty too now that she has cleavage and the leotard top 👄

So I’m seeing a lot of bitching regarding AOD’s remaster that they didn’t change enough compared to 4&5.

Those games are from the PS1.

And if they changed more on AOD it would ruin the atmosphere…

Im sorry but I disagree, AOD is an unfinished game. Look at any developer account and they repeat this constantly. It needed to bring back a lot of cut content that was still in the source code.

Fans expected miracles with AOD, Aspyr never promised a version of the game that was completed in anyway. They said there will be a cut training area added, a few cut moves added, some updates to graphics and smoother modern controls. They have provided all that.

The game moves better from what i quickly tested….but the game will always never be “fixed” because it was never finished correctly to begin with. The AOD remaster was always only going to be the fan modded version fans have been playing for years on PC.

 

There are still a good few in game character models that need work and some control tweaking which will no doubt come in patches this year.

The Ireland levels in Chronicles are so boring omg 🥲 im pushing through them so hard just to get to the final part of the game.

Yeah anyone who expected a totally new experience with AOD clearly doesn’t understand how these things work. lol You can’t expect a broken mess to magically become an incredible game. 

I’m still so stoked to play it. The nostalgia is peak with that one. I never even knew it was hated back then cuz I was just a kid. I was just so into the story and the atmosphere and music. 

 

im playing thru TLR right now and its so nice. I love the modern controls apart from when the camera shifts perspective and also underwater I prefer the old method of swimming. I actually nearly thought I has to scrap this playthrough because I got stuck underwater using the new controls but then switching back got me unstuck.

I’m playing through AoD right now and I’m pleasantly surprised with how much better it plays this time around. I really enjoyed the restored training area as well. Didn’t expect a whole new game, so not disappointed. Can’t wait to get into 4&5 as they are the only two I haven’t played through previously. Had to get my AoD on first as it is a classic in my book.
