Still not a fan of the chorus tbh. Both the instrumental and the vocals/harmonies sounds like a mix of some Froot-ADIAML’s tracks with a splash of EH.

The lyrics aren’t that great, but I loved the lines trust no bitch, even people that you love // I can flip a switch quicker than a blade does

You’d think after going independent we’d be expecting something more left field or interesting and it’s sad ‘cause the potential is there like wasn’t the reception of Venus Fly Trap supposed to warrant something? and to compare this era to The Family Jewels of all albums? I think some of you have just outgrown her- the same way I have with Lana. The single is fine- it’s a new direction and campy. Is it a lyrical masterpiece? No but it clearly wasn’t intended to be.
