you have absolutely no idea what happened between her and harvey, she could've been one of his victims for all you know, it's NOT your place to judge or to assume the worst when he was PREYING on WOMEN in the industry who were terrified to speak out, YOU are the one who's rotted, she consciously went out of her way to stop performing the song and doesn't stand by it anymore, so regardless, it's not fair to hold that against her

I'm pretty sure Lana Del Rey, who had been signed the year prior to Cola's release, did not know that he had raped and sexually abused many women if it even was an "industry secret" that didn't come out until 2017. About the song, she has since stated that she "envisioned, like, a benevolent, diamond-bestowing-upon-starlets visual, like a Citizen Kane or something. I thought it was funny at the time, and I obviously find it really sad now. I support the women who have come forward. I think they’re really brave for doing that. Obviously I don’t feel comfortable with it now, I thought of that right away."

I won't deny that Lana has done some questionable things, but that's a very one-sided view. Even though she apparently married a MAGA supporter, I think her political views remain neutral and when in doubt are probably more anti-Trump  (she has spoken out against him several times).

This is really strange but Lana has blocked me on ig in the last week, I haven’t commented and I have no idea why. Literally just went to show my friend her monogrammed jeans and she’s just not there? I don’t know how to feel
