Real "Sirens" Tracknames confirmed

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

So I have NO CLUE if y'all knew this already, but I didn't see it anywhere, not on the Lanawiki page of the album...

I uploaded the whole May Jailer album to YT, and it got blocked (Interscope owns the rights to all Sirens songs, didn't know that also) and as you might know, blocked music is listed under the copyright warnings. So I suddenly saw track names that are definitely not what we have been calling these tracks before.

Track 1, known as "Drive By" is actually called "For K"

Track 7, known as "Dear Elliot" is actually called "Westbound"

Track 9, known as "Peace" is actually called "All You Need"

Track 10, known as "You Know Me So Well" is actually called "I'm Indebited To You"

Track 14, known as "Junky Pride" is actually called "Pride"

Track 13, known as "Move" is actually called "Find My Own Way"

The other tracks, especially like "Birds of a Feather" were unconfirmed titles (going by Lanawiki) but are actually correct.

Can anyone update the info page on Sirens maybe?

None of the Sirens artwork out there is official because the album never got an official release. As far as I know, some CDs of it were made that people have that Lana gave to them and that's about it

She did the same for some other small MySpace projects too. I know there was demo tapes/CDs? for no kung fu etc- it would be funny if there were still some out there.

This is actually bullshit 😅😅

123931-CE-3959-4-BEA-A543-3-BF72-C746058

These are the fake titles.

1. Drive By (falsely named For K because she name drops K in the song)

2. Next to Me (real title unknown, possibly River Road or Hey Man)

3. A Star for Nick

4. My Momma

5. Bad Disease

6. Out with a Bang

7. Dear Elliot

8. Try Tonight

9. Peace

10. How Do You Know Me So Well?

11. Pretty Baby (This is very likely For K as it is lyrically and sonically very close to For K Part 2)

12. Aviation

13. Move

14. Junky Pride

15. Birds of a Feather

I put the confirmed titles in bold.

The registration is different though? I’m pretty sure it wasn’t with UMG prior- she for does change titles so whilst this isn’t definitive proof-it still should be considered.

Unfortunately, copyright strikes sometimes show false/incorrect titles after being uploaded under that title multiple times. A more recent example of this is Like That by Ariana Grande, which everyone called "Jada"— she only says that once in the full song, and we know it's not the actual title, fans made it up when only a snippet was available online.

Something similar also happened with a few Melanie Martinez songs several years back, being detected under fake (but frequently used) names.

The songs are not actually called that. However, the songs have been bootlegged with these titles and even artwork. Therefore, this is what they are most likely referred to by the majority of people outside of her core fanbase.

Either that, or it’s auto-generated through AI.

regardless, when the "young like me" and "from the end" EPs leaked, which were registered the year they were recorded, they leaked with those titles, so they're real, even if the other titles which showed up on the youtube copyright are as well, possibly, but i don't think they are

Idgi though... why are other leaks "confirmation" of the track titles we used so far for this project? :noparty:

I don't understand why UMG registered track titles (that Interscope seems to own) are not considered more accurate and real...
