probably a beatles tape or something? maybe sgt pepper or revolver. but some other early music buying memories (age 12 and before):

–ace of base cassingle for the sign

–TLC cassingle for waterfalls

–hole's live through this CD

–en vogue funky divas cassette

–paula abdul spellbound cassette

–mariah carey unplugged cd

–phantom of the opera broadway 1986 london cast recording soundtrack CD

–cats CD (also a late 80s/early 90s cast recording)

The first CD I ever bought was Honeymoon last year. I was so ecstatic and it was the first CD that started my collection :heart:

That I myself bought? Hard to say tbh I think it was:

iTunes: either Flyleaf's self titled album from 2006 or Miley's Banger, deluxe edition? Or Gaga's ARTPOP? Bought them all around the same time

CD: this one is hard. I have so many CDs that I can't really remember which one was first that I bought with my own money. Probably Britney Jean deluxe or Blown Away by Carrie Underwood

Vinyl: Black Widow by In This Moment and I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. by MCR
