The reason for this agenda is that people of color (especially black people) have much less opportunities to open businessses and do other financial things bc of either a lack of funding or bigotry and bias within big business. Also re: marijuana, despite the fact that marijuana is legal in many areas, people of color are disproportionately punished for possession and use of it and when it became legal, the ability of black people to enter the marijuana industry is STILL limited. It's about attempting to create equity. It's just written in a sneaky way to make black men or people think it's going to help them but it doesn't really have anything to do with them or will be any real benefit to them over anyone else. It's more writing things like this that is the problem, it's blatantly targetting and aimed at people based on skin colour and creating divide. It'll also fool people who are dumber and anger others, there will be hillbilly types reading it and thinking "they are going to give black guys loans and better healthcare than us" and be black people thinking "this will help me im going to vote for them" when it's not the case. They should need to explain what they are actually doing.

I'd say it is but it's not really doing that it's only making it look like that on the surface. Like there is no illnesses only black people get, so funding illnesses that affect black people more it's probably still ilnesses that more non black people get than black people since theres more other people. It's for everybody really it's just presented in a way to fool black people it's for them. Same with the loans, the education and all the other stuff.

I mean this in the nicest way possible but this message shows you have very little understanding of race and equity in the United States. Everything you said here is … wrong! America is an obscenely racist country, and the systems it operates under are still very racist and exclusionary. Having Black-focused equity programs is absolutely necessary and frankly, the bare minimum. 7 Quote .・゜゜・ ⋆·˚ ༘ * GIVE PEACE A CHANCE ˚ ༘ ⋆。˚ ・゜゜・.

Having Black-focused equity programs is absolutely necessary and frankly, the bare minimum. It depends on what you think the problem is though or what you think these politicians actually do. Like these things stated there don't do nothing to help black people or for me really the problem poor people. For me black people in America need help because they are poorer on average and they are like that cause of the racism that lead to them all living in poorer areas where they get worse education and then they are involved more in crime etc same as poor people in every country, they're stuck and it's hard to get out only they are disproportionately there from racism but it doesn't matter who is there or why they should all be being helped. These people are not going to be helped by being able to get huge loans, they won't get them. They aren't helped by recreational marijuana being legalised or cryptocurency being secured more cause they don't even have any. If it was me, i'd want to help them by in turn helping all poor people from bad areas. Thats the main problem.
Mer 61,462 Posted October 15 The US is still strictly capitalist, so any policy put out is going to be policy to make it easier to succeed in capitalism (loans, entrepreneurial support, etc.), and not policies that could be accused of being socialist by the GOP. I agree that this is a pretty measly, bare minimum list - but this is where the US is right now, and likely always will be. 4 Quote ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹ 𓊔 I took the miracle move on drug 𓊔 ⚕️ The effects were temporary ⚕️ ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹

Apart from a small minority of lunatics nobody likes or trusts these politicians and nobody thinks anything they're doing is right or works yet they keep it going.

As I guess it does say "Black Entrepreneurs and others". I guess it doesn't really exclude other people more like advertising these to a specific group. Still crazy though. this is insane and low key offensive to black people - and it’s obvious that none of that will actually happen like Harris is grasping at straws here, it’s looking like she’s loosing the race and she needs to secure her lost voter base, black men.

That Venice Bitch 28,012 Posted October 22 Spoiler i dunno how to define the colors but of the four stages of color shading, i used a scale of a >15% vote margin for the darkest shade, then 14.9%-5.0%, then 4.9%-1%, then <1% yapms.com my current prediction on how the race will turn out.. this could change before election day but idk Turnout - one of the biggest factors that will decide the election - will probably be lower than 2020, but a variety of other factors point to benefiting Harris. Access to abortion is on the ballot in Arizona and Nevada, two states with heavily-contested Senate races with the Dems in each highly favored to win. Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin also have the privilege of a Democratic incumbency in their three respective Senate races, which again only helps Harris/Walz. The big flip I have here is Georgia for North Carolina. Georgia does not have huge Senate races like it did in 2020, which increased turnout and dragged Biden over the edge. I can't see that happening again this time, idk. North Carolina could very well stay Republican but it's continuously trended blue since 2016 and the gubernatorial race with the Trump-supported "Black Nazi" could line up for a Harris flip. We'll see what happens in 2 weeks 8 Quote .・゜゜・ ⋆·˚ ༘ * GIVE PEACE A CHANCE ˚ ༘ ⋆。˚ ・゜゜・.
audreysdance 3,247 Posted October 22 Idk who will win but I do care since US politics does affect a lot Europe's politics. I think both Harris and Trump are both clowns in their own ways, if I was American idk who to vote honestly. What seriously worries me is that there are literal people who will vote for Harris ONLY because she supports abortion (at any stage...), not caring about other issues, or there are some who will vote for her just because a childless cat lady said she's going to support her. It's the same with trump, there are always those brain-dead who vote for anyone for DUMB reasons, and that's worrying but yeah it's like that in every country at the end, sadly.
Veinsineon 76,457 Posted October 22 I think the turnout could be bigger than 2020 even.
