i'm already seeing people online trying to defend beyonce because her and jay-z got together when she was 19 and he was 31 and that means he groomed her  FFS she's not some helpless naive child, she knows what kind of person he is, she doesn't care, she could've left him if it bothered her, but clearly it didn't, she is no victim whatsoever

I mean honestly people think it’s some huge conspiracy when it’s not hard to understand. Two major things are at play here. 1. Being so wealthy that nothing means anything (being bored and also thinking you can get away with anything) and 2. Having power over other people. This is gonna sound weird but I don’t think many of these people are actually attracted to children they are more attracted to having power over people. I don’t think it’s “everyone in Hollywood is a pedophile” rather than “money and power changes people and can make someone do terrible things”.

No I get that god complex pipeline etc, vapid people etc but it’s still baffling and doesn’t make it any less baffling
