Unpopular Lana Opinions

I don't see this discussed often, so I think mine could be considered an unpopular opinion :

I don't like how Lana's face has changed in just a few years. Yes, she gained weight, but I can't attribute her face change only to that. And don't tell me that it is due to aging. Aging can't affect a face so much in just 2-3 years and plus when you're in your 30's.

She's been doing someting else (cheek fillers maybe?) and she needs to stop doing whatever it is. She could be a lot more beautiful instead of getting puffy cheecks and a swollen face in general.

I mean. Her face in 2012-2013 was perfect. Just perfect.

 

I don't get why some Lana fans don't accept that she was prettier before. It's just an undeniable fact that you can see with your own eyes. She doesn't look as fresh as she looked like only 3 years ago.

 

And I don't like how she does her hair now. I liked her long wavy\a bit curled hair. Now she always has an ugly middle part and don't let her hair down as she used to, but goes for an "housewife" look, with those side locks. Lana let them grow long, please.

 

Musically I think she's perfect. Obviously few songs are not my favourites, but all of them have that vibe that connects all her songs. I basically only listen to her released songs, old songs, and unreleased ones. That's what I have on my Ipod. 200+ Lana songs.

ive seen people bring this up before so I'm only posting this because I suspect more people think this than who post about it, and I just wanna add my two cents

 

I don't think she has had any work done beyond what we already accept (nose and lips). I think her (very, very slight) change in appearance can be attributed to changing weight, changing makeup, and aging.

 

Why do i say slight? Well, here's an image of her from 2011 and one from 2015, I tried to pick two images where the lighting and pose was quite similar http://m.imgur.com/3G6a13g,558AldL

 

I think the differences in her appearance are really negligible. She uses lip liner more often now, I think to actually combat people who were making fun of her for her lips (using makeup to make them appear bigger rather than filling them to the extent that she did). She also does her eye makeup differently. She's more prone to use a color on her lips which can give a more mature effect.

 

I think people also underestimate how much changing weight can affect the appearance. Her cheeks and chin appear fuller because they are fuller. I would know, ive lost 20 lbs and I look drastically different. So do many people who change their weight.

 

Anyway that's my two cents. If she had more work done then whatever, but I really think people saying "omg she looks SOOOO different" are focusing too much on negligible differences...

i have honestly always found her beautiful. even in what most consider unflattering photos. she's really just god sent and can do no wrong. she could condemn the gays and i'd still buy her albums. but luckily she's not like that and STAYS IN HER LANE.

I'm glad to see her being so down to earth! She is focused on delivering art, not on delivering "looks"

I'm not against plastic surgery. For example her lips looks better than when they were thinner. I'm against plastic surgery when the result is gross or simply doesn't match with the rest of the body\face. I like more the shape she choose to give to her lips in 2012\2013, instead of the one that she has now, even if now it's a more natural shape.

 

Whatever it is the cause of the change, I hope she try to do something, like losing a bit of weight or change the makeup. I hope she gets better because she could be a lot more beautiful with a little effort, in my opinion.

Like I said before I love Lana. I love all her songs and it's the only singer I listen to basically.

Lana is not God (well yes in a certain way ahah), it's a person with a body and a face, and like everyone express opinions about what he like or donen't about someone, I expressed mine about Lana.
