unusual you is soooo .. i can't explain. unusual you makes me want to cry whenever i hear it. the vocals - the lyrics - the dramatization - the build up from the bridge to the outro of the song.

i'm upset she didn't do a music video for this. so Y&B gets one but not this treasure!? ... i would have died to see her as a maleficent - horns and all walking around the fairy forest.

i have honestly always found her beautiful. even in what most consider unflattering photos. she's really just god sent and can do no wrong. she could condemn the gays and i'd still buy her albums. but luckily she's not like that and STAYS IN HER LANE.  

The Amoeba Records performances were awesome. The LA show was PACKED and the line was soooo long to get in. So I wasn't super close but the San Francisco performance, we happened to get there a few minutes before they were setting up and they invited a few of us to the front - I shot a video of her performing BORN TO DIE - i'll have to post it. It's up on my youtube account.

well she also did that in a few of the MDM performances .. i kind of like it. she has a weird technique. it's gotten better. i feel like she got some vocal training during the Y&B recording ....
