just finished listening and this truly is 1989 tv once again !! i dont think is fair blaming it on Jack this time. Unluckily, I don’t think she is ever going to go back to her peak (folkmore) cause of how the media is all over her. But that’s alright !! She just needs one or two years off and leave behind the pulling out albums like McDonalds technique. Not everything is bad tho! I think So Long, London and Florida!!! are some of her greatest attempts in the last years, at least better than anything on MIDnights.

I’m a certified Taylor hater and I think it’s really good, there’s thankfully no cringy songs like Anti-Hero, Bejeweled, Vigilante Shit or Karma and that’s an absolute win for me

I dunno…will need more listens but the album is kinda giving that viral tiktok sound where someone is doing an impression of what TS sounds like to people who don’t like her 💀. There’s some good points but it’s overall not very memorable for me. The title track is just not good at all and Florida didn’t give me much either. I will say I liked But Daddy I Love Him. Love hearing a country sound again.  I’ll definitely listen again and read along the lyrics and my opinions may change. There’s a lot to unpack with the lyrics. And I’m a huge TS fan by the way, not a hater I promise
