I mean, is it a possibility that the album would come out before the tour, which means in the next few weeks? I remember seeing an article saying that Lana is one of the most streamed female artists of Spotify with only Rihanna and Katy Perry (I think) to top her. Doing an iTunes exclusive would really benefit her here and really make people purchase the music as opposed to streaming it for free. But, the article also said that this artist will be really pushing it to their fans using Twitter, e-mails and so on. Does this really sound like Lana? When she announced her tour, we didn't get an e-mail like how most artist would do it. I havent seen official cover yet. Its described as a ballad - very cinematic with some guitars - like a cross between Ride and Y&B. The lyrics are actually very dark and mature. Im suprised Interscope is willing to release it as the first single because of how much radio-unfriendly it is. But on the other hand its supposed to reflect the sound of the album perfectly. They are choosing completely different marketing strategy this era. They dont want to overexpose and stress her like at the beginning of BtD era.
