Tips for Attending a Lana Concert

Recommended Posts

If you get to the barrier, keep hold of it or you'll get pushed out of it! Also try and take up as much room as possible and get comfy then you may still have some room when she finally comes on

Am I the only one who's surprised at how aggressive Lana fans are??? The music is so calm lol ~ it really puts me off seeing her live. My main advice is the far left/right parts of the barrier are less violent and you get a decent/close view but u won't see the video playing behind her and she won't come there at the end, just teasingly close. But it's better than being stuck 3rd-4th row in the middle esp if you're short

You don't survive the pit, the pit survives you. (Be a tall strong man)

i dont even wanna know how many tiny girls i mustve pissed off because of my height when i saw her at the very front last year. their loss though :whatever:

I'm a 6'1 tall ass man, I've never seen Lana but I've been to enough shows to know that short girls will ask to be in front of you and you /will/ say no.

Get ready to pop your personal bubble because it is crowded as fuck and literally there is no room to move an inch of your body. Also, people will scream right into your ears (especially when Lana first comes out) so be prepared.

It sounds miserable, but its overall very enjoyable :)

some of these stories are making me rly scared should i bring pepper spray

Yeah, and you should play a game called push and hide, you push push push others on purpose and if they turn you just act as if you hadn't lift a finger :oic2:

I do it all the time at night clubs and it almost makes up for the sweat and the lack of oxygen

(Just kidding I used to do it and I almost get punched once)

The important thing is to wear comfy clothes and proper shoes, you wanna get home with your whole feet

I was front row and center for Dallas and it was crazy behind me.

To my left, two girls on the barrier passed out and had to be removed, but the security guards gave them no privileges. It was almost as if they were kicked out because the security escorted them out of the pit and that was it. To avoid being one of those, you just have to be in touch with your body all day and stay hydrated, eat appropriate food, maybe take vitamins if you're feeling a little weak. Iron and vitamin c are vital!

The pit really is like a sporting event. Even front row and holding onto the barrier, I felt the wrath at the storm going on behind me.

But with Lana just feet in front of me, I was able to put all of that off and enjoy the most magical night of my life. None of it even mattered.

I am 6'4'' so I don't have to fear being trampled, however make sure you eat and drink a good deal beforehand. When I saw Lorde in March, I hadn't drank or eaten in over 6 hours, and I passed out. Let me just say- you do not want to pass out while in the pit.

Okay, so I would love to show up as early as possible but I find it unlikely since I'm not the one driving lol. I'm going down to Seattle from Vancouver (cause I won't be able to make the Vancouver show, anyways~) and I think we'll probably showing up at the scene around 3-4pm ish at the latest, and the show starts at 8pm. From personal experience when do most people usually start to show up? I would love to make it to the first row (and from reading other posts looks like I'm gonna have to prepare for hell itself), but I don't want to make enemies with all of Lana's Seattle fanbase lol, I'm hoping that I can be among the first 50-100 people or so that show up.

Suggestions? I'll appreciate all the help I can get.

I'm sorry to say this, but at the Boston show, by the time it was 4pm there were already AT LEAST 200 people in line, and this was one of the smallest shows. Try to get there as early as possible if you wanna be front row. Me and my friend got there at midnight the night before, but there were people who arrived at 10-11am who still made it to the front row.

im going to the toronto show and im leaving my house between 6-7 and im gonna take the subway for an hour so i should arrive between 7-8. If you go a couple hours before, you're not gonna make it. I'm not even sure if i'll make it tbh
